possibly stupid question re: scenarios

Hmm I see the Scenario button, and the scenario screen, but they all seem to be locked.

Are they being saved for next major release, or can we play them now in 2.33?

(if so, um.. how?)

Its not a stupid question per se, but its already been asked a million times. Read the threads before asking such questions.

In short:
Scenariios are planned for the last phase of the development, versions 0.4x, so dont even expect them in the next major release. So far they are not even near being finished, and the priority of the developers is elsewhere...

I should have put a popup on that screen that comes up and describes it a little bit and states that they are coming in 0.40. Its a little confusing with how I did it.

i think the team has a good idea of when it will be finished but they would rather leave us in suspence

Kael gave a formula in some other thread (were? I dunno) about the general timing of releases, etc and how he usually sets hard dates for things (baring any major OOPs that is). From what I can remember each major update of a phase is usually 3 or 4 months so if you figure that each phase may have 4 or more major updates then I surmise that the Ice phase will be Friday June the 6th, 2014 at 12:02 am eastern standard time

Personally, I would be surprised if you didn't see a or three scenario this year.
They are hard to do ahead of time, beyond conceptually, as that requires extra work updating when a new version of the mod comes out.
