The Ashanti

Unique Building: Golden Stool [Courthouse/Castle]. Although it is specifically the throne of the king, there were replicas made, which were prized as symbols of power.

I think Ashanti is an excellent idea but I'd always thought a cool idea for their UB would be some kind of Drumming Station.
This is based only what I've seen on wiki, mind you, but still very interesting and cool I think,

The Ashanti also invented a "talking drum". They drummed messages to the extents of over 200 miles (321.8 kilometers), as rapidly as a telegraph. Twi, the language of the Ashanti is tonal and more meaning is generated by tone than in English. The drums reproduced these tones, punctuations, and the accents of a phrase so that the cultivated ear hears the entirety of the phrase itself. The Ashanti readily hear and understood the phrases produced by these “talking drums.” Standard phrases called for meetings of the chiefs or to arms, warned of danger, and broadcast announcements of the death of important figures. Some drums were used for proverbs and ceremonial presentations.
I'm not sure what this would replace, perhaps the Courthouse, but as an effect perhaps it could give extra Espionage?

ive found a new Philippines Civ but I think its now working can someone please create it please
 
How about South Africa? Could one of you computer geniuses work that out? I have NO clue how to work the computer at that level, code, etc...
It would be much appreciated, and an interesting addition.

I always thought of Botha favoring Caste System as a civic, to represent apartheid.

There's a good Paul Kruger and Nelson Mandela LH available.

I thought of two others based on my history studies... Venice (Repubblica Serenissima), and Sicily (Norman Sicily). I never understood how Venice had escape mention for so long, their empire lasted 1000 years and was the major force in the Mediterranean for much of that time.

I'm not an expert modder, but I could probably make an Ashanti mod.
I'm thinking for the UU will start with Medic I.
 
I like the drumming station idea but what if you usually play without espionage? I'm thinking maybe +1 culture as well

disregard my previous statement... on reflection, people should do whatever they want with the game (undead civ, etc), I am just kind of traditionalist I guess.

Anyway, I would like to update this.

The civ should be called the Pueblo, instead of Anasazi.

UB: Cistern (Aqueduct, gives city +2 Health, +1 Food)
