Re: my previous request for S. Africa, disregard it. I am updating/changing the outdated Afrikaan/Boer mod for BtS, and will post it when complete.

This is my first go at it, so it may take me a while, but I intend to make it happen. I will also slowly make it better and better once it is playable (one day I may even create art for my own unique building, which is light years away from me at this point).

Are you playing Beyond the Sword, or just vanilla Civilization 4?

If you're playing Beyond the Sword, the address is wrong. It should be (for most versions): C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods

resubmitting a request. twice. which i guess is a triple re request?

However this time I'll add that right now there is an interest by many nations in Antartica - and that there is a theory that the Nazi's set up a secret base there (lol)

"New Swabia (German: Neuschwabenland) is a section of the continent Antarctica between 20°E and 10°W (overlapping a portion of Norway's claim zone Queen Maud Land), which was claimed by Nazi Germany in January 1939.[1] It was named after the German region of Swabia. Norway disputed Germany's claim, which was never recognized by any other government."

Rather skip a "nazi" antartica but the point is that there are theories (and alp size mnts under miles of ice- how about a norwegian looking jules vern kinda thing

    Antarctic Empire

    Leader-Roald Amundson...Protective/Organized
    Favored Civic-Environmentilism ...Starts with Hunting/Fishing
    UB-Ice Station-replaces Library (+1 Health)
    UU-Ski Troop-replaces Rifleman (2 movement on Tundra/Ice)
(or an Icebreaker- replaces Destroyer and and go through sea ice tiles one movement point or a Ski Sled that replaces an explorer)

Cities- Grytviken, Leith Harbour, King Edward Point, Stromness, Husvik, Prince Olav Harbour, Ocean Harbour, Godthul, McMurdo Station, Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Princess Elisabeth Station.

............."here is an alternate list of cities for the antarctic civ:

    South Pole - Vostok - Amundsen-Scott - Halley - Asuka - Dumont d'Urville - Georg Forster - Zhongshan - Casey - Scott Base - Greenpeace Base - General Belgrano

Do you have the Pueblo or Anasazi in Civ Gold? Because I'd like them.

No, but the Pueblo and the Anasazi are likely related (the fomer being descendents of the latter).

I opted to included the later groups, such as Navajo and Apache, and Seminole and Cherokee, rather than earlier cultures - Pueblo and Mississipians, respectively.

Not to say these wouldn't be good additions, but I haven't included them at present.

Well, the Navaho and Apache aren't Pueblo. Perhaps make a Pueblo Empire made up of Zuni, Hopi, and other tribes and have Popé as a leader?

It's a good idea, but it's something that will have to wait, unless someone wants to step up and take on the bulk of the XML. :)

What about a CIV based on the Twilight books and movies. I mean sure, they are teeny bopper ideas that my wife is obsessed with, but the characters themselves would make a great fantasy civ. You have vampires, wolves and just a ton of them to choose from with their individual powers.

I have the Boers/Afrikaaners... I am just play testing it to make sure it works.
    I will post it shortly.
One difference, I called the nation "South Africa":
Color: Orange (blends exactly with Dutch/Carthage... how can I fix that?)
    Leaders: P W Botha (fin/agg), J C Smuts (can't remember) and P Kruger (agg/can't remember)
UU: Boer Kommando Ruiter (replaces Calvary, starts with Mobility and March)
UB: Mineral Mine (I might change this... it replaces the forge, considering having it replace factory instead))
Starting Techs: Hunting/Mining (Hunting gets them a Scout instead of a warrior, I wanted to do Agriculture)
Flag: Red, Green, Blue, White (not the current flag)

I will try to make the changes of the unique building soon...

I recently finished Norman Sicily, but do want to make a change or two.
I also did an up to date Venezia.

I will start working on a Kingdom of Jerusalem shortly.
