Post Romanum PBEM

yeah, i know... i´m doomed anyway.
it wont make much difference, will it?

ok... is there any space for negotiations?
i´m willing to discuss my surrender. name your terms, please.

yeah, saw his troops on the border the last turn and managed to build a nice defence, but could be that I will temporarily lose one city... :deadhorse:

I think AI reacts to the fact that I am already in war with Dharmasetu, maybe thinking that its easier to attack then or whatever.

I am worried... truly worried! :scared:

The giant has already defeated 2 humans... it won't be the AI (regardless of how strong it is) that will stop him!

I think that, if we do not do anything, we will soon have a winner!

sorry, but who is "the giant"?

Yes, the REAL Giant is India.

Persia only appears to be a giant... it's not ruled by an Intelligent entity, no matter what it says on the paper!

haha, i see. thx for the clarification ;)

GPS to SITS yesterday. hopefully the speed will pick up a little now and if anyone has problems accessing their turn, lets discuss it here and help each other.. :)

Finally, an opportunity presented itself.

The main Byzantine army had already crossed the river to the south, in its relentless attack of Indian cities. This, however, left a smaller group of their mounted attack and longbows separated in the Valabhi deserts. And that is what the Indian army has been waiting for, keeping their reserves mobile and stationed at important crossroads.

Attack commenced with catapult barrages. Sacrificing the siege engines was vital to gain that small, but significant advantage for the battle to come. Next, the Indian elite, experienced grenadiers stormed the sands, to crush the cuirassier and war elephant core of Byzantine battlegroup. Making way for foot troops and longbows to finish the job.

The third and biggest yet battle of this war goes to India. Justinian's main strength in the south is still sieging Indian cities. The war rages on.

@rd13: i´m a bit confused... did you play your turn or not?
the pbemtracker it still shows it´s your turn

i think that was the previous turn, i played another today and sent it to pbemtracker. the game was with me for 3-4 days, sorry about that, a bit of unexpected busy-ness.

It is my understanding that the game is almost over, because the winning civ is unstoppable, but I still can replace Luthor if everyone is ok.
