Well if this thread starts getting boring, we can always spice it up by asking Snafu for the Leclerc and AMX-30.
 
Hello, if you still build requested units I would ask you to create a german Spz Marder as a replacement for the Mech Infantry.

EDIT: A replacement for the normal Marine. I know there´s already an unit called Modern Infantry Germany in your Modern Warfare Mod. But first thing ist, that they wear a rubycoloured beret, which means they belong to a paratrooper regiment. And this is only one little part of the german army. EDIT2: A replacement for the normal Cobra helicopter. Do you know the Tiger Helicopter? It`s designed as an Anti-Tank and Infantry Helicopter. If possible as a german Version.

may ask you once again to finish your work on the MLRS, please? I know you are very busy with your own mod but I can't help myself and you are the only I know who can do it. And there is no other unit in the forum that would do. Please finish the MLRS. Please, my first request is now more than one year ago. Maybe a half year ago you told me "a month would be a good guess".

There are two in my mod (both improved by myself) and two more were planed... and I tried to do 3D works on my own before I asked you. But it would have taken obviously several months to learn how to do it. Time enough as I know now. :gripe:

Why did you stop working on the MLRS without telling me? I could have asked an other unit maker months ago. Why don't you tell me that you have lost your interest? It's okay if you tell me. But your behaviour is much worse than my English... :thumbsdown: And the MLRS has been on your list - you posted it often enough. Click for example here. Why are you telling me things like a month would be a good guess? Of course you must not do it, but don't start to try it and never tell me that you stopped working on it for ever (or a very, very long time). That's very sad, because I won't ask another if I think you are still trying it. That's only fair.

Mmmmm, no 3d view... but it's not a request of specific models, just generic vehicles.

I've a couple of requests:

1- a fast, lightly armored vehicle armed with rockets. This is a link, the photo is merely for example, you can have an idea of the kind of vehicle I've in mind.

Snafu is gone for a while, so he won't be making any units any time soon (afaik at least for half a year, more likely not this year at all).
 
I just want to know is Snafusmith allows me to use some of his WW1 models in my mod for the game Making History Gold, called Deadlock. I can manage to convert and adapt the models... just need to know if I have permission to do that.

All credits for the models, of course, go to the owner (Snafusmith himself).

As it looks Snafu is away from this forum for one year, someone knows his email?
 
Modders in general like having their work used. So yeah, use anything you find here if you can find a use. Unless otherwise stated, the reason modders submit models and such here is so that others can use them.

I ll shout once AGAIN that we have NO ARTILLERY units.Many types of vehicles,planes,ships,but NO ww1,ww2 artillery units,a weapon that used and still is being used in every army.Siege weapons sad to say,are worth more attention that you ALL designers show to them.
 
If you want your graphics to be used, you should make art for the Planetfall mod!

As for possible animations, this may just be an wild dream, but I kinda imagined the fungal tower would have a couple tentacles attached to the sides of the top (as in Units.pcx) which would move randomly in the air while simply animated, and lash out at the target like a whip while being attacked or doing its ranged strike.

Other possibility (especially for a ranged attack animation) would be a little hole opening at the center of the top of the fungal tower, and a little orange cloud (see current spore launcher animations) - representing locusts - streaming out of it and doing an attack run on the target.

Plans for this unit are either a slow-moving aircraft carrier, or the last unit in a line of bunker upgrades. It should obviously not be as detailed as on the movie (which shows like half a city on the cloudbase), to save poly's.

A futuristic version though. I'm thinking it should be a submarine carrier. It would use mass drivers to launch aircraft. No strong idea myself on how it should look. This is an option:
