Earl Browder's 1st Term
1940
Immediately after the voting results, and before Inauguration Day, Browder took unpresidented (get it?) responsibility and redirected the policy of the nation towards world colonization to make a haven for people of all cultures united under the ideals of equality and unity.
Browder, within just a month, signed mountains of paperwork to grant over independence to several colonies. He stated he will be maintaining most of the colonies until a further time, as he does not want anarchy to erupt. He states a balance of power must be maintained. Nevertheless, Iran and Morocco became independent within that month. He sent large amounts of funding and technology to those nations to convince them to become communist.
1941
With a love for decisive, strong leaders, Browder initiates and finishes the construction of Mt. Rushmore near New York City.
Browder quickly captures Trinidad.
1942-43
The next couple years included following through with Roosevelt's colonization plans. He has plans to annex Manchuria as an American territory, and because of the isolation of that region he states he will continue to administer Korea. However, he has colonized and liberated England, Spain, France, the Congo, Japan, Greece, Turkey, with all other civilizations coming soon.
1944
Inspired by America's rise of communism, Peru wishes to join the Communist Internation, but Browder turns it down not wishing to have direct political control; instead, diplomatic control.
Here is a picture of the colonization of Finland and Lithuania, which Browder plans on keeping American territories to overlook the soon to be colonized and liberated Eastern Europe. You can also see all the newly reconstructed nations under socialism.
As you can see, Browder's change in American policy caused a Great Crash in 1940, and it has steadily improved. Browder claims this is from the spreading of wealth, and it is to be expected. In the long run, the whole success of society will be more than the sum of its corporate thieves.
Browder's policies, although economically questionable, has increased America's influence around the world more than its capitalist policies have.
It is also important to note with, the transition to communism has lowered the overall happiness of the cities due to their love for economic freedom and their losing of resources from their former colonies. Browder has combated this with constructions of broadcasting towers, theaters, and the ilk.
The American economy crash has also led from 80% of American funds into technology, to only 50%.
Summary:
Less happiness in cities
Less control over world directly
Outstanding increase in diplomacy; the world loves America!
Economic depression; science output down from 80 to 50
Shift of power from corporations to economic specialists helping to plan economic quotas.
Reduction of state religion in the world. High increase in religious freedom.
More civilizations. More American colonies outside of foreign cores.
America no longer has a technological monopoly, as technology was traded to convert nations to communism.
Communist Party is now a primary party.
Political disunity within nation with recently awakened sentiment to give some colonies back to England and France who are less willing to so drastically change their way of life.
