Post Your Empire

Very interesting. It seems one vote from Browder to Roosevelt would keep them tied, and Hoover is winning the Republican ticket; years after losing the presidential run and not even getting back on the ticket.

Let me clarify, and also keep in mind you can change your vote at any time before poll closes, Browder would change the labor civic to public welfare and the economy civic to Central Planned, and Thomas would simply just change the labor civic to public welfare but keep the free market.
Browder wants to free all foreign cores and help resurrect all foreign civilizations, but is still interested in colonizing non-foreign cores. Roosevelt is moderate on it, and will resurrect some civilizations while keeping others as colonies.

Communism under Browder would be much more progressive as there isn't a Soviet Union to give the orders, and I feel one of the largest flaws in Stalinist communism was that their civics would also be Autocratic and Totalitarian.

One thing I have been doing since I wouldn't imagine the game would ever allow this, is world buildering in dead religions and wonders into their native regions once some criterions are met. After all, the people died, and buildings are always able to be repaired. Religions don't die either, especially if you give it back to people who still identify with that culture. So, for instance, if I freed Turkey, I would world builder in Islam and the Orthodox capital while spreading Orthodox to the appropriate regions. When Mecca is built, islam does the same.

Earl Browder gave these inaugural notes (made up by me, not actual Browder quotes):
No longer shall capitalism or the media decide what separates us as human beings. Whether you are catholic, or protestant, whether you are black, or white, or any other creed. What makes us strong is our will to stay united, and the focus of our aspirations towards a higher plane of achievement. We will reconstruct the Old World. We will build roads, irrigation, churches of all creeds, and workplaces for all walks of life. We will unite the world under humanity, above any political affiliation and with all previous disagreements put aside. Our goal is simple: The pursuit of happiness for society, and the universally self-evident principle that all men, and all women, have the sacred and undeniable right to determine the sacred grounds for their heaven.

Earl Browder's 1st Term

1940
Immediately after the voting results, and before Inauguration Day, Browder took unpresidented (get it?) responsibility and redirected the policy of the nation towards world colonization to make a haven for people of all cultures united under the ideals of equality and unity.

Browder, within just a month, signed mountains of paperwork to grant over independence to several colonies. He stated he will be maintaining most of the colonies until a further time, as he does not want anarchy to erupt. He states a balance of power must be maintained. Nevertheless, Iran and Morocco became independent within that month. He sent large amounts of funding and technology to those nations to convince them to become communist.

As you can see, Browder's change in American policy caused a Great Crash in 1940, and it has steadily improved. Browder claims this is from the spreading of wealth, and it is to be expected. In the long run, the whole success of society will be more than the sum of its corporate thieves.

It is also important to note with, the transition to communism has lowered the overall happiness of the cities due to their love for economic freedom and their losing of resources from their former colonies. Browder has combated this with constructions of broadcasting towers, theaters, and the ilk.
The American economy crash has also led from 80% of American funds into technology, to only 50%.

Summary:
Less happiness in cities
Less control over world directly
Outstanding increase in diplomacy; the world loves America!
Economic depression; science output down from 80 to 50
Shift of power from corporations to economic specialists helping to plan economic quotas.
Reduction of state religion in the world. High increase in religious freedom.
More civilizations. More American colonies outside of foreign cores.
America no longer has a technological monopoly, as technology was traded to convert nations to communism.
Communist Party is now a primary party.
Political disunity within nation with recently awakened sentiment to give some colonies back to England and France who are less willing to so drastically change their way of life.

PS. All democratic and republican candidates want Earl Browder put in prison for sabotage of American liberties, use of American ingenuity and funds (during an Economic Crash) to bribe nations into following his political philosophy, and unconstitutional federal powers taken before inauguration. Furthermore, all opposing candidates want the Thomas-Browder Amendment repealed (even Thomas), making it so third party candidates cannot so radically change the nation without due process, and a 2/3 majority has to decide on a civics change.
