Post your favourite metal song

What album was Back to the Primitive off? For whatever reason I remember that Sepultura song.

Current favourite ! :D (Slight technical problems at the start though )

Second Favourite !!!!!!! wow ! great song ! :)

W.A.S.P - A mug of ale forever !!! .... to those who can discipher the acronym and have the guts to post it :)

Oooooh :)
Yesh, this i like. Metal and music. And since i´m a SWEDE. Really a patriot, why?
Because i get goosebumps just from typing it, that´s how much i love my father\motherland.
But anyway, i then would like to post 3 songs from musicians from it as well.
I choose to post then:
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok ok, the two below the first one is more like newer age punk, from a place called Umeå in Sweden. If that´s a foul to post in a METAL music thread, sorry. I can LIVE with getting corrected and the two removed.

Honestly, i wont cry....*lip starts to shiver*.

Good day

Edit: W.A.S.P! alright, the album "The Great Misconceptions of me", a masterpiece.
Chainsaw Charlie, nuff said. :)
To hear that chainsaw rev up at the start of the song and HECK-OF-A-SONG!
...said one with a Christian faith at the bottom, so what. *Pffft!*.
Music never HURT anybody, come on. :)
OK, stop it, typing. Sorry.

Nice to see some W.A.S.P. here, awesome band. Crimson Idol is flat out one of the greatest albums ever.

Let's stick with the classic metal bands:

Can i double post? You Civilized people here ever heard of the group Clawfinger?
I think it´s really good and got that energy, to describe the best, energy and quality. Two words which i (i hope quality wise), is what makes my ears tingle with joy.
But if it´s pure metal i dare not say good people. But i believe now, at the top of my head, that it´s a combo, Norwegian\Swedish band Clawfinger and i hope somebody likes it as well.

Yes, i may be side tracking a bit. Judas Priest.
The Sentinel and this one:

One right fixes 2 errors, thanks. Pure physics at play here.

And this is holy..
HOLY ****! hehehe. But yeah, the holy grail of rock. Sorry, but i REALLY have a hard time myself to be able to differentiate metal as a genre from all of the other rock\hardrock and actual metal groups. Black Sabbath is NOT metal i take it?
But so good it hurts.

Now that´s only three of them, but all hail Sabbath! Oh, and these two as well. I like it mostly, from what i have listened to, Ozzy and Ian Gillan as singers and also some others.
I´m not really a fan of the singer Ronny James Dio. Can have to do with his song "Holy diver". Sounds so pretentious, it really..never mind. A good singer in some Sabbath songs though! For sure.

Now the last song is for ME a bit controversial (but so good anyway). It´s just too much that Ian G. takes a stand too close to ripping on the thing that i think is SALVATION, not slavery.

Preacher out
Edit: OK. Now i see as well that the...poo word here is a no-no?
Got it :p

Sabbath is probably the first metal band. Most of the elements of the genre were there before them, but they put it all together. But I'm gonna disagree with you on Dio. Heaven & Hell and The Mob Rules are far and away their best albums. But then, for all I respect their innovation, I'm not actually that keen on the classic Black Sabbath sound, whereas the Dio period sounds like, well, Dio, not Sabbath.

Let's go in a different direction for this post's song though:

Most people only know of ROOTS, BLOODY ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!, but arguably this is a better Sepultura song:

They weren't exactly a virtuoso band ;)
IMO though!
That record along with their album Chaos AD. So good, really, i get goosebumps just typing it out now.
I perhaps should turn up the heat in my apartment or something but, I have not listened to all of their music though. i saw them in Donington\Britain 94 i believe the year was? 96 perhaps and unfortunately, that was at the same time that Max Cavalera´s, the singers son had died in a car crash and he had one stand in at that concert. If i remember it right it was the bass player Igor that filled in for him on the vocals.

WHAAAAAAAAAAA! *then hit the "play" button on the above clip. :)
Kick @ss.
