@Erez- A)thats a rather huge over generalization of the relationship between Rome, and
parthia, the nation that
should be there; but even when the sassanian persians arrived ont he scene, the realtion ship was not muchg different- that realtionship you asked? Wars fought almost more for ceremony and show more then the actual want for territorial expansion, almos tliek two brothers arguing over whos tougher; sure once in while thed take, or try to take some land, but more often then not, one army woul invade, they fight, and th eloser had to pay money, that beign about the extent; sur eit sounds nice, and it wasnt, when at war they downright hated eachother, and when at peace were always suspicious; but both naitons were economy minded, and both knew that, until circumstances drastically changed, it was benificial to stay at relitive peace for trade purposes.
B)the incident is actually the deciding factor in whether or not I shoudl start the game "fair" with all feifs being at 55% loyalty, or have a more historical reflection, with varying, and for the germans and french at least, not all that loyal, feifs. it just happesn that history lends to me a fair, andf true punishment to inflict upon them for treacherouslly attackign my forces. next time it happens, then i'll have to get creative....

@Alex-
A)the goths dont exist anymore by this time
B)the territory your likelyl reffering to, that around the black sea, belong to the Pechneg tribes who were alogn the same line fo tribes that were the pre-Attlis Huns, and eventually the Mongolian tribes 9I say pre Atilla, as once he steeped upm, his army ceased being hunning; it was a germanic army with the benifit of Hunnic horse archers- similer to hwo the mongol army woudl eventually work, with rather few actual mongols being int he army at all, but it mostlyl beign made up of conqored peoples forced into military service)
