Also, I'd really love to use the Winkel Tripel that Symphony D. and company are putting together in "Mapping the Future"; as soon as all of the cities are placed on that, I can probably switch pretty easily (I really do hate this crap version of Robinson). What say the lot of you?

Not that I have any real problems with the new map, I just prefer the look of Robinson.

Lastly, I am deciding now what to make output copies of now when all this is done. I have so far decided on:

• [*] Symphony-style Robinson, 1:35,000,000 scale
• Symphony-style Winkel-Tripel, 1:35,000,000 scale
  [*]North King-style Robinson, 1:35,000,000 scale
• North King-style Winkel-Tripel, 1:35,000,000 scale

These will have plotted modern borders and cities and will be usable right out of the box. If there is popular demand for some other style or scale or projection or whatever else it is that matters to you it had better appear fairly shortly and with vocal support, otherwise I will not bother making it.

Things I say at all, it would seem.

You aren't now. Maybe you won't in the future. But someone will, eventually. That person will get to eat their teeth if they don't happen to be one of the people contributing, which they likely won't be. I'm just giving far warning of the fate of this as-yet-to-be-determined person far in advance so that nobody is shocked when it happens.
