Also, there should be the Sultanates of Sulu and Brunei - they were just as important as the Kingdoms of Myanmar and Siam.

The Sultanate of Johor had Southern Sumatra and most of the Malay Peninsula (Siam had the rest with exceptions). The East India Company has Penang and Prai, the Dutch have Melaka.

Nonetheless, I'd really want to play the East India Coy.

In actuality many nations should still be in India, not just the British and French

Most of those nations only had small settlements and no military presence. They were there by treaty arrangement and had little actual control beyond the enclave borders other than trading power. Of course, I am not opposed to carving up the British territory a bit more and giving Maratha direct access to the French, Dutch and Danes.
