So... You know that dog who walks alongside the Conquistador in C3C, right?

(and yes, FLC2GIF messed the pallete)

I'm just separating the dog from the rider. All I have to do now is finishing the death and victory anims. After that, it will be up to you (well, up to me too :D) to copy-and-paste this dog and make some much-needed units with him. Just think of the possibilities...

- Roman War Dog
- German WWII Canine Unit (it's a German Shepherd after all)
- Soviet Anti-Tank Dog :crazyeye:
- Police K-9 Squad
- Dog Sled :)
- Counter-Intelligence Operative (a guy with a dog who would sniff out invisible units)

So... What about it?

Hey! Good idea!

Definately a good idea. Aside from a War Dog, I'm sure Noah's Ark could use it (along with Dire Wolves).

EDIT: One thought. Is it going to be off centered because the Conquistador was originally taking up the middle?

I will obvously need this unit for my mod 'Animal Wars: Pet and Pest' that you can check out from the link in my sig. This will be a BIG help since the dire wolves are the only other dog unit I have!

BTW, I would like it centered please, if it's not too much trouble. I would be very grateful!
:worship:

Could you also create a conquistador without the dog? I could really use it as a light cavalry unit for a scenario.

A War dog would be useful to my mod as well. Very good idea.

I think it isnt in the center of the animation, am I right?
Yep. As I said before, the Conquistador used to take up the middle of the frames, and this space will also be used by the dog's new masters. :)

what kind of stats would he have?
That depends on how you plan to use him. I'd make him avaiable on the Industrial age and give him something like ADM 2/2/3, so he can defend itself in some situations, attack those unprotected workers and settlers, move a bit fast and also have "detect invisible units" flagged, so he can sniff out enemy spies. :D

What about the dog alongside the king of Austria in the Conquest Expansion... It only has four animations so you don't get an attack but it looks more like a Medieval Mastiff type dog...
