Problem with social policies

Hi,

i just tried this mod and I liked it a lot - but there was one thing that's very annoying and I don't know who's to blame - me (because of an installation mistake or something else) or a possible bug ;) Maybe someone experienced something similar.

It's about the social policies. In several cases it seemed to me that some of the edited bonuses social policies are providing don't become effective. E.g., when you choose "economie", you should receive 10% gold in your capital plus one Great Merchant. But the Great Person doesn't appear. The same happened with a happiness-bonus from the piety-branch.

One remark: I have the German version of the game, and when I play the mod, some of the descriptions are written in a mix of English and German words, so are the some of the social policies; some others are completely unchanged and in German. I don't know if there could be a language-made compatibility-problem.

Does somebody know about that and how to solve it?

Thx!

The German translation hasn't been updated to the new changes in a while as far as I know.

This doesn't happen to me, but it may happen to others. Have you checked the other recent bug reports? One sounds similar to this.

Regardless, you should delete all but one version of VEM, as well as the cache and ModUserData.

Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to keep localized translations of the mod up to date, since I only speak fluent English. If you have free time to help with translations, it would be greatly appreciated. The thread is here: Translations
