problems in online multiplayer

I was playing some online matches today (public and private) and when i opened the menu to save it, there was no option to save it. This seems to be a serious problem. If this is a problem you are having too, let me know becuase it might be just a problem with my account.

Not that I'm against people posting questions, but do new people who sign up to ask one question even bother reading 3 or 4 (at least) of the threads that already exist where the same question is asked and answered?

Edit: One caveat to using Ctrl-S is that you have to put "AutoSave_" without the quotes in the file name, and move it to the multi folder. This way when you go to load the game again that save file will show up as being an autosave, even though it wasn't!
