Problems with someone using multiple user names to ruin a scenario's rating

And what if I was wrong. Then I would have made a big mistake, im 99% sure though.

Exactly...it turns out I was wrong about one person I thought was a DL. But, I was correct about another.

I wouldn't want to falsely accuse anyone of anything.

Thread ratings are gone from all the files forum now. We will no longer have people creating new accounts just to give their own files a 5 rating, and their competitions a lowly 1 rating.

Thank you Thunderfall, I think now everyone can judge a completed file based on merit rather than possible dishonest opinions.

Now, I guess, it will be a lot harder to decide which scenarios to open and to download. I was dependent on those ratings to gauge whether it was worth it to open up the thread and then decide to download it.

What I've done for the scenario file library is assign "unofficial" ratings to each scenario, SOLELY based on user comments and opinions in the thread, the description given, and historical accuracy (if it applies). I have not given such a rating to my own scenario. I've had no complaints about this from anyone...so I would assume there is no problem with it. And the library already has 7000+ views. :)
