Procylon's Call to Power Project

got enough of those culture points available to unlock? if u using firetuner to add culture you need to close the policy window then open it again, to refresh it

Yeah. I even started in diamond age to have a choice of any of the governments. No dice.

are you using the mod as i sent it or using it combined with your mod? if the later use just the original mod then i will work into combining it with your latest version

I only combined the government policies into it and got rid of all the legacy junk that was updating the old info. I haven't added anything strictly new.

I will load the test file into mediafire and post a dl link when it is done.

also since you are using civ5policy.xml make sure you have not left in the policies.xml file

Yeah its out.

Do you update the V9 file with all the small changes you list ever few days?

Should I redownloading the V9 file every few days?

The list is dated. So if you see enough changes that you like between your current version and the new version, then download it.

However, I would really only advocate downloading a new version when you are ready to start a new game, as the new version may not be compatible with your current version.

Started an all standard renaissance game, I was also unable to see the new boats on non resource tiles. The research production sink needs to be nerfed, I almost quadrupled my science when my top production city went research. 5% or maybe even less would be good. Starting gold for that era is a bit obscene. I spent fairly slowly, but was still able to rule all demographics with over half of my original 100000(or was it a million?) still banked. That starting bank was enough for a dozens of settlers, or hundreds of workers, or a combination. Gold and production seem much more balanced overall. Though I think food still needs some work to slow growth slightly. Did you mean to have both the windmill and the mill(which pictures a windmill)? For unit gold maintenance, I think 10 gold per column from agriculture would fit. So warrior would be 5 since it's available at start, and every other military unit would be a multiple of ten, and late units would cost over 100 each.

This is technically a gameplay question. I've just downloaded the mod to try it. I've not played Civ5 much but I must be doing something wrong. It's 500 BC and so far I've built a monument and a worker. I've got about 3 techs and only one city. I can see that one of my AI neighbours is doing just as badly. What am I doing wrong?

Are you playing on marathon?

I think it's on Epic.

There's you "problem." That game is going to go by much slower than a standard game.

I have good news: I managed to get by the CTDs from the last game report :). I still don't see the images on non resource tiles though...

I'll do another report when the game gets wrapped up (or I get tired of playing).

OK, just trying on Marathon now. I've started a game on a large map, continents, 12 players. I've put my first city down and I'm working a flood plain tile. I need 140 turns to make a monument and about the same amount to make a worker.

I don't understand what's going on. Why's production taking so long? I can understand the slower pace but I don't understand why I simply can't build anything for the first 2,000 years of the game.

if u like to play on longer than normal pace i suggest you download the Extended Era Mod (EEM) for pace it has production increase so u can have huge wars in every age it works so far with this mod. and the load bug is form civ 5 i got it even in the vanilla version.
