The Hittites, flush with new leadership the Hittites unite behind their leaders call for a crusade and rush to the army. Who, what, when, where and why they are crusading is a state secret for now.
In Central America, Great Honduras threatens their neighbors with war unless they surrender to the Hondurasians. They refuse choosing death over dishonor. To the North the Mixtecs are all but crushed by the Aztecs while the Toltecs are pushed back from the Aztec capital. In the Caribbean Sea the Seminoles and Great Honduras continue their scramble for islands.
To the South, not much happens. The Panamanians and Amazons expand slightly deeper into the interior of the lands. The explorers are gaining more confidence to travel away from the sea and rivers.
In Southern Europe the war against the Gauls progresses well for the Allies. The Spanish push hard into Gaul territory pushing the disorganized Gauls back on their heels. The Spanish undertake the worlds first amphibious assault, landing troops on the southern Gaul coast and instead of burning the villages and returning to their ships, they land and advance inland. However, the Gauls had stationed their newest troops on the coast, thus slowing up the Spanish advance from the beachheads. The Franks to the north continue to obliterate the small Gaul forces arrayed against them and advance on the Gaul capital. To further deal damage to the Gauls the Etruscans continue their advance against them as well. The Spanish continued to lead the world in exploration with expeditions down the African coast and up to northern Europe yet again. They sent another mission back to Viking land in the hopes of colonizing the land to the east of their territory, only to find the Swedes, a people who had inhabited the area long before the other nations had settled down. The Spanish expand their colony in Africa and start new ones on the northernmost Canary Islands. Spanish ships are not nearly advanced enough to handle the sailing and wind conditions beyond those islands and are forced to turn back. The same thing happens off the coast of the British Isles, and the expedition turns back after losing a few ships to the hostile seas. Also the Spanish wise men have discovered the usefulness in the properties of a metal called bronze.
In Russia a new Tsar takes control of the government reigns and initiates an aggressive program of continued peaceful expansion and an increase in education for the boyars and their children. This yields quick results as the alchmists of Russia learn how to mold a shiny metal called Bronze. Many temples are built throughout the Russian lands to act as places of learning for the Russian people. To their west the war between the Balts and the Finns has come to an end with the Finns gaining territory from the Balts. The expansion of the Russians is halted in the north by hostile winter and forests, the explorers sent into those areas die rapidly of exposure. In the east expansion is nearly impossible beyond the Volga river as the Siberian forests prove to dense to safely navigate and plot without getting horrendously lost in the vegetation.
Deep within the steppes of central Asia a new nation has emerged. The people of the Karakorum tribe emerging along with a half dozen of their neighbors. Most have just established the workings of a state society barely removed from the simple nomadic chiefdoms of years past.
In the south pacific the Geystral army finishes construction on the wall to separate them from the people of Borneo. The leaders of that nation are surprised by this turn of events and wonder what these new people have planned. They begin to see a reason to be skeptical of these foreigners. Happily though the people of Java rise up and dispose their leader beheading him publicly and asking for the Geystral army to come in and protect them from the Java militarys vengeance, which is swift and brutal, killing thousands of suspected conspirators.
Sicily, realizing its place in the world was lower for a nation of their stature embarked on a policy of modernization with a breakneck effort to unearth the secrets of bronze and they build marketplaces throughout the lands. Their rebuilding of the Carthaginian capital yields even more positive results as many of the workers return to the city and help put the collapsed nations economy back on its feet. (+1 extra econ)
In North America the Iroquois collapse under the relentless onslaught of the Canadians and the Delaware. The Hurons semi independent state is allowed to exist by the Canadian government but they are a relatively peaceful people and contribute no men to the bloodthirsty Canadian Army. However their skill at fishing contributes to the Canadian economy. (+1 econ)
Arabia continues their expansion in the fertile crescent reaching an area known as the Persian Gulf. They wonder why it is called that until they meet a people known as the Persians, then it makes sense to them. The Arab army continues to grow and even presented a show of force to Babylonia in an attempt to get them to join the Arabs. They decline wondering why they would want autonomy in an Arabian kingdom when they have sovereignty with their own king.
