Punk Thread

Tend to prefer the old stuff when it come to punk, the likes of The Ramones, Undertones, Sex Pistols.

I've seen NOFX, Less Than Jake, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly and Anti-Flag a few times at various festival, they all stick out as punk band si've sene which i thought were very good live.

Seen loads of underground UK punk bands when I was younger (used to go punk gigs every week about 10 years ago), stuff like Hacksaw, Eastfield, 4 Foot Fingers, Farside, Lightyear and alike was all great. Dunno if any of you know Seven Crowns, if so i'm friends with their guitarist.

Ooof! That's not punk. That's a very good impression of Cliff Richards. Looks just like him.

You're not on the last freedom moped that's all.

If you like lager perhaps you like Special Brew.

Link to video.

Carlsberg made Special Brew originally as a thank you to Churchill for the help he gave Denmark in WW2, allegedly. It is awful stuff.

I'm sorry but the avalanche of punk that is Ebba Grön is hardly comparable to the gumdrop of suck that is Bad manners Special brew.

Yes, you're right. It is a bit sickening, I will admit. ;)

They're just a bit silly and bouncy , which I like.

Yeah, it's a corny kind of awesome. For sure.

Kind of reminds me of Carter USM Jim Bob

@Delinquent
Is #53 Stockholm? Just idle curiosity.

@ruggers
You know what he means.

"whole lotta shakin goin on"

#53 Stockholm? Eh? Dunno? What? Why? When? Have you got? How, do you get it, if so, how often? And which do you choose, a hard or soft option?

I know. Punk is only worth it if it gets in your skin for good. One people of all races and colours against the obnoxious system our obnoxious grandparents expect us to worship.
