Oh god, those situations just make you stop and think : hey, how about choosing the Betruger's way ?
Going down the Industrialism line, I switched the research to Electricity.
I have spent a bunch of gold (1300, and kept spending afterwords) to upgrade samurais and cats to infantry and cannons. We need to have something to face the ladies, should they attack.
On the last GA turn, I switched from Slavery (in 1870???

Even Toku doesn't do that

) to Emancipation.
On turn 155, I almost faded away when Cathy came around with this deal:
It's the very first time I see it
Of course, I did agree.
Electricity came in, and I started Industrialism. I also started some build up in Egypt - spies for every city and cannons for every city. Workers continued railroading everywhere.
Turns went uneventful, and I almost oversaw this sight:
'Thebes, we got a problem'
Another turns of peaceful building (spies, cannons

) and came Industrialism.
I decided to stop here and would ask r_rolo1 to play 12, so that we get to a normal number (turn 163 currently).
I started Artillery, though no beakers are invested.
A small oversight of our (still) small empire.

2/ 'Here lived Hatty'-land
And now, please pay attention to this beuty:
How is it possible to resist such a sigth ?

Do we rumble a little bit our plans and go for a domination push? Or keep spacing in peace ?
Ask yourself what you would do as Toku

No, I don't want to influence, either way is good to me
Rostolloni:
