Question on moderation

Lies.

Green is for thread-moving, easy warnings, and stuff like that.

Blue is when the moderators designate a "target". They collect an IP address and send it to Thunderfall. Thunderfall then traces the IP address to the subject's residence, and relays this information to the moderators.

After a discussion and "sleep on it to make sure" period, lasting no less than a week, the moderators enact their plan on the target.

Should the moderators reach the conclusion that the target must be "set straight", then they will enact a punishment equivalent to the infractions the target has perpetrated.

In two weeks' time, with the help of various international agencies (and a little covert ops training), the target will one day wake up to a horrible comeuppance.

For in their bedroom will be a number of barrels full of monkeys equivalent to the infraction points they had earned up to that date.

Now unless the target is extremely intelligent (in which case they could have avoided the IP tracing), then they will not figure out that the number of barrels is equal to the number of infraction points earned at the Civilization Fanatics' Forums (and the total number of monkeys equal to the total number of collective brain cells of the moderators destroyed).

However, realizing what fate has sprung onto them, they will become a better citizen and seek to atone for their past misdeeds. And hopefully, a better poster too.

Moderator Action: Its a bunch of lies; nothing but lies; you'll ignore this post ^^, if you know whats good for you.
There is nothing about this (nonexistent) post that doesn't swim in an ocean of salty awesome.

Am I supposed to be able to see a difference between dark maroon 1 and 2?
One has the rules link built into the tag, the other doesn't.

On a side note, CivG, I've read the "Star Paladin" in your user title as "Sarah Palin". That OT politicking is really having its toll on me...

Of course, moderator-less, ban-less forums somehow get more civilised discussion. After all, if you know people IRL and meet up with them regularly they won't dare do some of the idiotic stuff that OT is known for.

Are [mod[/mod] tags allowed in PMs, visitor messages, etc.?

No they are not.

We can't?
