I'm not the UN rep, but I can tell you that Epsilon Team has a highly structured government with multiple elected positions and lots of opportunity for discussion and involvement.

We're also very mysterious ;) so I can't tell you any more than that or I might lose my tongue.

More will be revealed in time...

:hmm: I must say, this team does sound very intriguing. I like structured government.

I like structured government.
Epsilon Team has that in spades!

Without revealing anything improper or forbidden, I can tell you that Epsilon has clear divisions of responsibility, formal hierarchy, and a robust foundation of collective discussion and improvement. No matter your skill level, you are sure to learn much as an Epsilonian.

Please, GeorgeOP - even the geezers among us know that All your base are belong to us!...

And, apparently, All your applicants seeking structure are belong to Epsilon Team!

:spank:

problem is that we are playing Hearts

Thanks for catching that, Lost :)

But I seem to recall that the group membership option isn't available until the forum moderator grants the possibility of membership....

unsure....

Does:
1)Overall Team Activity (check how many different team members posted in this thread ;) )
2)General interest in the Forum(look at each Team's Total Post count)
3)The ability to think outside the box( shhh this is secret :p )
4)Create team building exercises while we wait for a patch (Unsure If I can reveal)
5)Structured Governement

While still maintaing the most awe, mystery and envy of all other teams lead you to believe in one ultimate power? :king:

I know my answer

1. Nah. Just look, more importantly, at the players. You've got some good players and such but let me say this...on our team you will find very few "un civ" related posts. We play the game.
2. This forum doesn't mean anything. Demogames and players are two completely different animals. For instance, most of our team is comprised of players...those that PBEM, HOF and SG. Not a lot on our team that have the patience for a "demogame" against AI. Humans? Different ballgame.
3. This is an interesting. I'd pm you our philosophy and such but...well....as Epslion..

I'm sure you understand.

4. All I can tell you is my teammates made me laugh out loud in my office today. My co workers know I have issues so no biggie.

Read this and you'll know a little "geneaology" of most of our team players. Without a shadow of a doubt...we have issues.

5. You want a structured government? Don't join Piffle join your team...you guys are nice. We're true anarchists.

No, you can apply to join one of the groups at any time, but we won't approve you unless you actually signed up for that team. We've even had people who we had no idea who they were...probably just random people hitting buttons in the User CP. :crazyeye:

Whens the next crazy eye update?
Funny you should mention. I think the next edition should be out within a week. A couple articles needed some editting by one of our resident funny guys Kickbooti (aka Bootilicious) and Mistfit will finish it off.

OK now that interest in this game has all but died.... can we get a pic of our starting positions before the entire sub-forum can be found in the archives?

Hopefully the mapping and civs won't be altered by this mythical patch. And Sirian could go ahead and make the map and have the starting positions for us to discuss. Also why couldn't we just play through the patch??

Please don't let this die.

I'm with Tubby on this one. There's no reason we couldn't get the starts to talk about, at the very least.

Playing through the patch might present difficulties, but I suppose we could simply restart (but that could present additional problems).

First off...do we really know how much longer? If we are talking days and not months then lets wait. Why risk having to redo something.

/my own opinion not that of my team even if I am the captain.

I've already PMed Sirian about that possibility, Tubby. He said that it would be wise to wait for the patch, as it could very well create some "serious problems" if we decided to start now and patch as we go.

Trust me, I am disappointed at the time this thing is taking, as we had a nice, enthusiastic crowd coming into it. Now I see spiderwebs. This game won't die, and I'll PM every team member once this game starts.
