Any unit that can move more than one is also a blitz unit when put into an army. So if you have three knights in an army, that army can attack twice. Three calvary can attack three times.

You are about the same place as I am. I am about the middle of the Industrial age. I get my first tanks in about 3 turns. I am also on a huge map. I figure I could test it in about 2 weeks.

I am going to try messing with the editor. I figure if I take out all requirements; I can make a test scenario where I can build a ships and nukes in 4000BC. I tried a test scenario yesterday using invisible warriors; it was very interesting. I'll let you know if I am sucessfull.

how can i get "world seed" from saved game? - i had some very good map and want to save it as scenario but dont know how to create it again ... please help

I don't think it's possible... Normally what I do is just create the map in the editor and remember (or write down) all of the world seeds that I like.

You could try Gramphos Multi Tool. I've never used it, but I've heard that it will extract the map seed.

But in the future, I would do what Strider said. Works for me. . .

Is it easier to get Great Leaders when playing with militarist civilizations?

Nope. The chances are exactly the same.

But you could look at it that you should have more elite units when playing a militaristic civ. But I've found that I don't get any more as a militaristic civ.

later in the game I see a bright object, like a sun, in the upper left hand corner of the box. What is that?

the sun is the level of radiation in the game, the darker it gets the more raditation appears, it symbolizes global warming.

There acouple mistakes in the units page.... For Example according to it both the Scout and Explorer has a movement of 2...

I came across something odd when playtesting something else today. I always thought that the number of blank faces in the F4 screen referred to the known Civs at the time. For instance, if I meet Rome, who already knows Greece and Persia, I would see Caesar's face and see two yellow question mark-faces.

In this game I was playing a huge continents map with 10 opponents and it turned out that there were 5 Civs on my continent, 5 on the other continent and 1 on an island. And yet, my F4 screen showed 7 blank faces in addition to my own.

Anyone know what's going on here?

The F4 screen only shows eight faces at a time. You are right, there are blank heads there when you haven't met them yet. I believe it is shift-right click to bring the leaders in and out of that screen.

The F4 screen kind of choose's the civs it shows randomly. You can change the civ on there if you want to (in PTW) I forget where the option is though, but you click on one of the empty portoriats and then click on the civ you want moved into the empty space.

You both are misunderstanding me. I know the screen only holds 8 faces and I know how to switch between them when there are more than 8 rivals. But my question is about the question mark-faces when I have met fewer than 8 rivals. I know there are blank faces when you haven't met them yet, but I want to know how and when these blank faces show up.

hmm... I think I've got you now.... Though I can't answer that question... I never really use the F4 screen. Sorry.

@Speaker: For me, all question mark faces are shown right from the start of the game no matter who I have contact with. I've never really paid any attention to this before, so there could be some unknown variable that I haven't noticed. I tried running a test on this but the results were inconclusive...
