Ah, CivAssist II is WONDERFUL. I highly recommend getting it. It is extremely useful when you want to find out things about the AI, but does not use any cheating.
 
I think Ainwood said he had to fix it after a server issue and would maybe get it done this weekend.
 
In C3C you could build a wonder that acts like a hospital for that town. IIRC it is Shakes wonders. I rarely get to build it. You don't need metros anyway.

Place your cities closer together to begin with, then size 12 is all that you need. And also remember that such a city only needs 24 food once it has reached its final size.

Ehm, new problem though.

I patched PTW and now i get an error message in french, "le CD-rom rest introuvable"

Did you buy a downloadable version on the internet instead of the CD-version? I hear those cannot be patched, because then the game will look for a CD which you won´t have - for obvious reasons.
 
I think the settings are 'nuisance' and 'minimal'. What the actual difference is, I don't know off the top of my head.

However, Civ Assist 2 can tell you. It'll change your government for you (in the Civ Assist Program) and you can see what the difference is before revolting.
