In the case of the research labs, any manually built ones done prior to building the Internet will still produce 1 pollution icon in those cities that have them. The free ones produce no pollution, so selling off the existing ones to get rid of the icon is a good idea.

Just browsed the "many" bug reports. When do the patches come out? I don't want to play a game that has that many bugs right away.

That was quick. Thanks for the response. For Civ3 I only had one patch; 1.29 I think. Was there more?
 
Hello all,

How does one build the spaceship? I have all the resources needed, I completed the Apollo project and researched a whole bunch of relevant techs, and I still do not have the option of building any of the modules in any of my cities. When I go to the spaceship view and try to click on a component, it says "no city can build this". Why?

Of course, each patch *included* the changes made by the patch(es) preceding it, so one only needs to ever apply the final patch. ;)

I would guess that the game is already finished. Either you won or you lost and hence no spaceship.

Post a save I will check it.
 
No, the game hadn't been won yet; I was able to build the UN later and graciously take a diplomatic loss :) I will post a save tonight.
 
Was the city with the Apollo capture or destroyed? Either that or AL was no longer available. IIRC all parts need AL.
 
No and no... Apollo is safe in one of my own cities, and there are tons of aluminium in my resource boxes. All the cities were happy at the time, and I was at peace with all the other civs. I had lots of money and resources and people and what not.
 
The only other thing I can think of is tainted shields, but I would not expect that to be the issue for ALL towns.
