Yeah, but honestly it's not hard to figure out what HN unit belongs where.

So you had previously signed an MPP with the Americans then? Sounds to me like you had some units in Russian territory when you were forced to declare war on them. MPPs are a fine way of getting your reputation trashed. That's why many players here don't recommend them except perhaps for in extreme or unusual circumstances.I'm playing a game where there are alliances. Russia attacked America, with whom I am allied. The military advisor popped up and told me about it, mentioning that we must declare war on the Russians.
How can I get civs to appear later on than other civs?
AI see the whole map all the time, so if you do have privateers, be careful about where you keep them because the AI can see them in an empty (no other units) town and they'll declare war attacking the privateer and then attack you in general because war is declared. So if you park your privateer in a town, make sure you have a ground unit there to hide it. I know that sounds silly, but it's true.
All civs, if I remember correctly (otherwise on a one-player-per-island type of map you could potentially be spawning masses of SGL's).Been bugging me since C3C came out.
For SGLs, do you have to be first among all civs in the world (including those you have not met) or just first among the ones you know?
