Thanks Superslug

Regarding Gifts ... I have requested a gift and it has been granted ... although usually extorted is a better description ;)

I was given gold, when asked, by an ally and from memory we were of equal tech and size ... in fact I had previously given them tech and attacked their enemy ... so maybe they 'felt' obligated ;)

If a injured unit goes in a city and fortifies, will it be completely healed the next turn?
If there's a Barracks.

A fortified unit gains the following:

1 HP / turn in native or neutral territory (or enemy territory with Battlefield Medicine), not in a city
2 HP / turn in a native city without barracks
Full HP in a native city with barracks

So a regular unit will heal completely no matter what, but others will get 2 HP / turn.

i need help with the computer on warlord i build up a good gold reserve get ahead in techs build up a good army but they still walk all over me no matter what i do
i was playing as the perisans and was onthe same conentent with the iroquois and the aztecs I had a earily war with the iros but i pushed them back a good bit time went on and i decleared peace becuse it had become a stand still later on i beat the aztecs and was the most powerful army. about ten turns later still ahead in techs in republic and still the best army they attacked and took about ten of my citysbefore i gave upthey were beating my musket men with knights every time just aboutnoting i could do seem to work please tell me if i have done some thing wrong becuse i almost want to quit playing becuse theis always happens.

When I conquer an enemy city my railroads won't connect right away, I forgot from earlier games whether they connect after you had the city for some time or not. So, why won't my railroads connect to conquered cities, note that normal roads do connect.

To be more precise: on all tiles surrounding my conquered city I have placed rail roads and they connect with each other, just not into the city. Moving in and out remains being treated as traveling over a normal road.

Thanks

Try creating your own thread in the strategy + tips forum. Upload some save games and/or screenshots so we can help you even more. You'll get better, don't worry. :)

This was fixed in a patch. Get the latest patch from this page.

Warning: If you have Conquests, and not patch 1.22, save games in 1.15b or lower will NOT be compatible.

PS: Welcome to CFC!

Scenarios with rule changes are fine, because the rules are embedded in the save (ie; even though the corruption model changes from 1.15b to 1.22, in the save, it doesn't - it's sort of weird).

I've been playing C3c For some time now and I keep reading on this forum that the game does not cheat.... whelll I don't believe this at all anymore.... I've seen a lot of things that make me wonder how the AI is doing what it is soing but the game I am playing now has finally put the last straw on the camel's back.... I'm in possesion of the GL and England starts to build Leo's.... three turns later the dutch complete Leo's and 2 turns after that I learn education which disables the GL and I still haven't learned invention.... If this isn't cheating I don't know what is....

Regardless of what you've "witnessed" the AI does not, and indeed cannot cheat. There's another explanation for what you saw, it's just a matter of figuring out what.

Did you have formal contact with the English and Dutch? Or were you informed of the Leonardo completion via the advisor announcement at the beginning of turn?

The AI *does* cheat - but in only one fashion: it knows the entire map, including where the pre-determined resources will appear, and where your units are at all times. Except for some bonuses as the difficulty level increases, in all other ways the AI does not cheat. Anytime a player sees *cheating*, there is invariably some other factor at work which the player is not aware of.

IMO, you had contact with the English but not with the Dutch. And no other known (by you) civs beside the English had Invention.

Contact is not necessary to know that a wonder has been completed, you get the notify anyway. But contact is necessary (with an embassy or a spy) to know if a civ has started a wonder.

I'm pretty sure I read about this somewhere around here but I couldn't find them.

Anyway, I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade all of a particular unit once. It's just a small to go through every city and click one by one so I was just wondering if it was possible.

Thanks in advance!!

Do the bonus the human gets against barbarians only count when attacking or does it count no matter what?
