If you are having trouble of this nature with editing files, you should start a new thread in the creation & customization forums. There are many players there with experience in both programs you mention.

edit: I use an old version version of PSP and just save in 256 color .pcx file format. When working with the files, you are probably changing them to millions of colors.

Would it be possible to add CivIII General Discussion to the Site Navigation bar?

Where is 'site feedback'? - Never mind

Site Feedback is down near the bottom of the forums main page. Or just foloow this link: http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=19

But don't get your hopes up. The Site Navigation bar is for access to the pages pointed to from the *main* Civfanatics page. If you notice, on of the links in "General" is "Forums". ;) These forums are actually just one part of the whole site.

In the end had to uninstall my paint programs and reinstall both of them
something was corrupting the save files.. :(
so all is working fine now and now i have new roads and am working on the hills :D

Thanks for the help and the location to post .. just incase i have a new question i will know where to go ..

I always pick random opponents when I start a game. I want to pick them next time.
On a standard game, say continents, how many opponents are there?

On multiplayer w always fill up the empty spaces with AI opponents. But ive noticed how agresive the AI is on multiplayer. It basically seems they will declare war for just about anything or nothing at all. I often have them go from polite or gracioues to war just beacuse i wouldnt give them incense or something. The most ridiculous one ever was they demanded 160GPT and two techs. (year whatever AI what have you been smoking ?) Anyway the point is has the aggresion been changed completly on multiplayer or is all this a coinsodence ?

There seems to be no logic behind it at all. The Ai will basically attack even when theres lots of space for expansion and its armies are no match for your at all.

I have a quick question to ask, I know it may be in the wrong thread, but I need to know what government britain and the ottoman empire had during WW1. If possible also please tell me who the ruler ofeach nation was. thx

Easiest question ever asked here: I justy created a world using Civ3QEdit (which is a major feat for me) and I'm buggered if I can work out how to start a game using the world I ceated. I'm too hungover to work out how to do it and it's pissing me off. Can someone please help after they finish laughing at me?

I'm not laughing, because if you don't know, you don't know! You were after all intelligent enough to ask in a good place. ;)

Just save your scenario in the scenarios folder and from the Civ startup screen, select Civ-Content and it'll list all the scenarios available. Click on yours and you're ready to rock on. :)

Cheers mate! Too bloody easy in the end but like you said if you don't know you don't know (i'll just keep telling myself that ;))

Though not as often as others, I try to answer questions here as often as possible. Still, however, I occasionally have to ask one myself.

I think there's a whole bunch of us here who wish we even knew how to create a world. We're sure not going to laugh at you for not knowing how to get it to load. Good on you for creating one. :goodjob:

Please help!

I realize that this is probably a stupid problem... BUT... I recently got a new computer. I reinstalled Civ 3 Plus the final Patch) and then Civ Conquests (plus the final patch) on my new machine. My problem is this. I can not seem to get the icons that allow me to have full mouse control such as "build road from this point to this point" etc. Any idea where I messed up?
