Should I rush a coal plant to build Hoover Dam?
Yes, but try to build the coal plant before you get near electronics, then prebuild.

EDIT: Sell the coal plant afterwards

I would have, but I was building Battlefield Medicine in the city where I want to build the Hoover Dam. I'll just cash rush the coal plant.

Hi,

How do I stop automated workers going outside my territory (and crossing territory of countries whome I dont have ROP with) to get to isolated "islands" of territory in the late game?

I usually automate workers once there is nothing for them to do but clean up pollution because the automation does a fairly good job at that. But its really annoying for them to set off on a 50+ turn voyage accross enemy territory to get to a tiny isolated city that has its own workers anway.

Is it possible or do I have to manually control my entire 75+ workforce every turn?

2 questions really
1. Can U put kings into an army?
I mean can I have an army of chairman Maos
2. How do u use flak guns I can never get em to shoot anything?

Alas, I play Vanilla Civ3, my friend.

Then, assuming you've already built FP, there's probably no way that city will ever be productive. Still, you might as well, unless you've got something better to build there. The game might end before a fully corrupt city finishes Iron Works though. I think I've only once had a city with both Iron and Coal.

I would switch to Hoover right away. It's a wonderful Wonder, and one that the AI will race you for. Battlefield Medicine is, in my experience, considerably less valuable, and not something you have to race for.

1. I would assume so, in Sengoku you can put the daimyo in an army, although it's a bad idea.

2. I'm pretty confused myself about how AA works in C3C, but I believe it's a passive ability. You station them where you don't want bombed, and when that spot gets air raided they shoot, or they don't.

HOW DO I INSTALL THEM...

I downloaded Procifica's American Civil War pack.. the directions said, once you zip it into your CIV III directory it should be playable... how?

I scoured the FAQ, but when I start up Conquests, it can't find the file, its not listed as an option on ANY menu, I even moved the BIQ file over into the scenarios directory, it then goes in the CIV-Content start, and the map shows, but it cant seem to find any of the other files...
Check for a folder with the same name. It should be moved into the same directory as the .Biq file.

I think Flak works the same as mobile Sams. They just have a low hit percentage. Try putting 3-4 of them in a city that is being bombed each turn. More is better. :D

Is there a way to relocate the Forbidden Palace short of abandoning the city in which it was originally built? Until recently my FP was in the northeastern corner of my realm, with my palace in the southwest. But as a result of certain, ummm, border adjustments that I've made with my neighbors the FP is now in the center of my territory. I'd just as soon not move the palace as that would cost me some very productive cities. Any suggestions welcome.

You could let the AI capture the city/give it to them, and then capture it back. Besides that, there's no other way (well there might be, but it'll be along the same lines)

I was recently playing on an earth map. I controlled southern Asiaand the middle east. Russia owned North America, China had south America. It was early ancient age. Russia demanded the alphabet from me, I said no, she declared. After forty or so turns, she wouldn't take an even peace, so I signed the chinese against her. Halfway into that, my "ally" demanded Polytheism from me. I rejected him, too. My question is this. If China had declared war on me, thus breaking our alliance, would I have received the blame for it?

China would unless there's something very wrong. It was the early ancient age and your South Asian civilization had contact with the Americas?

Yup. Standard map (Firaxis made it) , so it was easy enough for my curraghs to find their way over there.

Interesting.

HEY! I seem to have disappeared all of the maps, options, and everything from my screen except for the actual "board" and the cities and units and such. How do I get it all back? Someone answer quick so I can save and quit . . .

Press the Delete key. which hides the interface.

Is there any way to abandon a city I don't want? I thought I remembered being able to do it last time I played a few years ago, but I can't see it now.

Right-click on the city. Then select Abandon City.

What happens to the small wonders (e.g. FP, MA) if the city it is built in culture flips or conquered by the enemy? I presume they are lost, but can they be built again?

Other q: can I build the Pentagon if I had 3 Armies once, but one of them was defeated, meanwhile?
