i call this piece "the mathematician"
who is this plucky character emerging from the daffodils? is that a casio fx-85GT calculator within his grasp? does it have a graphing function? no, it doesn't. why not? is this ominous figure so confident in his abilities that he trusts his mind more than technology? what does this symbolise? has man corrupted the machine, or has machine corrupted the man? so many questions... so few answers... the answers are at the back of the textbook
