Quick question RE: renaming civ

I recently picked this game up again after 20+ years. I remember (from 20 years ago) that in the Civilization selection menu you could rename your civ (like you can rename your leader). I recalled that all you had to do was a right click on the civ you want to select and rename, but that doesn't work.

Does anybody know if you even *can* rename your civ from the selection menu? If so, what is the hot key to do it? Thanks.

No problem

Btw, the game will give you a random color if you decide to choose your own civilization name, so it does not matter which civ you highlight.

This can now be bypassed to force your desired color, by patching your CIV.EXE, as explained over here...
