Quick Questions / Quick Answers

What Civ would you consider a standard Tradition civ? "Standard" - taking Tradition in majority of cases, almost obvious choice, like 90% cases except for some unique starting conditions.
Edit. Except Venice.
First row: Arabia, Austria, Brazil, Korea, Marocco
Second row: Egypt, India, Siam

Morocco felt a lot better once I stopped trying to play them as a tradition-centric civ. I understand the justification: the UA trade route yields don’t scale so a smaller tradition strategy will maximize those yields.

I don’t think the trade route yields are early and strong enough to influence initial policy choice on its own. They work well with tradition but also play as progress just fine; the kasbahs around your many cities add a strong scaling element in medieval. Ive found progress-statecraft-industry to be a strong play with Morocco.

The yields from trade routes feels really underwhelming. Former you get valuable culture. Now it is split also on awful faith and hammer, not need to mention.
Compare it to Ottoman Empire or Portugal, those get 15 yields per trade route, and it isnt applied to unique trade partners only.
In my opinion, the other UA of marocco dont compensate this enough.

I find civs with unique improvements, such as Maya, Morrocco, or Brazil, questionable as tradition. Those tiles tend to compete with specialists as your low food, high reward way to use citizens. Generally I find my capital working a specialist, a great person tile, or a high food tiles only. Its hard to find a chance to work Kasbahs. Brazilwood camps or Kuna can work because 3 food on jungle is alright, but now that forests don't reach 3 food ever its noticeably worse than before

The Netherlands weren't mentioned, but the UA works well with tradition and polders (as a high food UI) are excellent. The Celts with the border growth pantheon are another less conventional but overall very good choice.

When AI kills your thief/spy and u reply "even death will not stop..." - will it make some hidden permanent negative diplo modifier?(except those -10 that displays(they ask u not to spy))
A year ago I remember such diplo modifier like "your spy was caught n their lands" - but now I cant find it. It was removed? Or just become hidden?

I don't know. But I know that unless you play with transparent diplomacy, the AI can chose to hide to you some negative modifiers.

Kasbah is pretty nice. Especially on forest or jungle tiles. Already 3 yields from the start, improved by buildings, you get a super tile with positive food. Unfortunatly the new UA is weaker than before. My opinion.

I play with transparent diplomacy. I just remember that modifier for catching spies, but two in two last games I don't see it. Maybe it was just removed...

Did you follow "http://civ-5-cbp.wikia.com/wiki/Creating_a_Modpack" ?
If you can't PLAY with MPMPWA, it is normal, but the modpack created should be ok.

Its random, but more likely to appear in a city with more faith.

You can move citizens off of tiles that produce faith if you want him to go to a specific city, but there is still some randomness

To be precise, and if I recall right, a random modifier of up to 3 is added to the per-turn faith production of each city, then the prophet appears in the city with the highest value of this modified faith production. So, accumulated faith production doesn't matter, just the turn where the prophet appears, and a difference of up to 3 faith can be compensated by the random modifier.
