Quick Questions / Quick Answers

Thanks. I've seen that, but it's a bit all over the place and not everything is covered. I'm aware I could ask my own questions, but I was more just wondering if there was some sort of guide.
There was a guide (i think is there in the Strategy and Tutorials) that covered the basics of the mod: how to Religion, Military stuff and so on but it is for sure outdated.

I dont think what you are looking for exists (apart from the ingame Civilopedia that have some sections that serve as a guide). There are some post of players talking about different topics (civs strats, how to war, etc) but as you say it is all over the place.

There is so much stuff in the mod and it changes too fast.

Edit: Here is the guide i was reffering: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/tutorial-for-beginners.659895/ It is pretty neat but outdated, but some basics still apply

Could someone remind me where to find the instructions to have the AI take over your civ mid-game, or take over an AI?

Do hotels and other related tourism from culture buildings affect the culture from UA's? Im thinking dutch and france kind of abilities.

If the yields are on the city tile, yes (see France UA).
If the yields are added to the city or empire, no.

The UA description simply doesn't have space to differentiate them.

hello, I'm a bit lost about how spies work on current patch. Is there somewhere a guide that roughly describes the current system ? In my last deity england game I didn't get much done with my starting spy.

Hello
one quick question: how do i display resources on the screen, as I see in most (if not all) screenshots here. I'm talking about the small round icons which display the resources (luxury, strategic, etc.), and not the tile yields.
I'm playing VP with EUI, do i need an additional mod ?

Thanks

Click on the parchment close to the minimap, and tick "Resource icons"

When occupying an enemy city, the circus and zoo are always destroyed.
(Imperialism - Civilizing Mission has been acquired)
VP version: 4.15.2
Mods used: 3rd and 4th Unique Components mod for VP (v.88) only

This has been occurring since VP Ver. 4.4 or so.
Is this by design? Please let me know if there is any information missing.

It's never captured, so you don't miss out on the instant yields.

Thank you for your reply.
I recognized it as a specification.( the circus and zoo are always destroyed)
Then, the description of Imperialism - Civilizing Mission
Retain “all” buildings from conquered Cities
Does that mean it's a mistake?
It would be easier to understand if it said “except for circuses and zoos”.

Some buildings, like national wonders, guilds, corporation buildings, and anything that gives instant benefits are marked as never captured. Never means never - there aren't exceptions.

Am I correct in saying that +Border Growth Points you get from a terrain feature, like a Fort, really ARE doing something, but it's just not represented in the UI when you go inside a city and look at your culture/border growth breakdown? The ones you get from buildings (e.g. Smokehouse) are shown here, but I don't see any from terrain.

I actually created my CBP forum account to come and ask someone if this information can be added to the city UI haha, but I think I still lack the privileges to actually post any threads

Does anyone know where is the button to negotiate peace with human player? (Playing with EUI) We cannot make peace T_T

What happens with antiquity sites when someone places embassy over them? Do they just disappear, so we have less artifacts? I wonder, because AI seems to prefer establish embassies over them, in 10 turns of epic game I see they placed 3, all over antiquity sites (seems they don't have tech to excavate, but somehow see them).
