Quick Questions / Quick Answers

How does one go about wining a cultural victory? I have influence over everybody and have invented telecommunications, but the wonder i need to build isn't unlocked with this tech?

Techs are not important, you need to have 2x Tier 3 Ideology tenet. So for instance if you went Autocracy, you need Tyranny and the thing that gives access to free Airports and Zeroes.

Question about Mongolia:

The tooltip for heavy tribute says you get a large number of golden age points.

But the UA says you get 250% of heavy tribute values.

Which is true, or are they both true?

Does France Napoleon production and culture for x-turns stack or reset itself if you conquer multiples cities in short order?

Does the warmonger penalty for conquering the last city of a civ degrade over time? Same question for conquering a capital.

It should stack.

Very little. People will think badly about you like forever. But people tend to bite their tongues when scared.

I'm not sure if I'm just seeing things in my games but the AI units appear to heal and move/attack on the same turn. I see the green numbers that show they healed for a certain amount. Do other people notice this or might this just be a weird thing showing up in my game?

In addition, are people noticing that the AI don't pillage your trade routes? It seems like your TR are immune and just continue as usual while they pillage each other's TR.

Do they have the March promotion? If it is somewhat late in the game and/or they are war-heavy they could just have highly upgraded units with the promotion where your units heal even when you take an action, but lose defense.

AI definitely still pillage, but it is usually on accident when a unit blocks a TR and it auto-pillages. I don't think they focus too hard on finding/pillaging TRs.

One of the units that healed and moved after was a naval unit. Do naval units get March too?

As for pillage, I had my capital nearly blockaded and I could send TR no problems and they just move through enemy units like there's nothing there. Just wanted to check if there were any changes or an actual bug.

@amateurgamer88 , yes, I was seeing units moving and healing long long time ago (like a year ago). I think I reported it on GitHub, but devs were unable to replicate. Then I stopped seeing it in the later versions. I will pay attention to it next time I play.

By the way - are you using QuickTurns or are you playing with animations off?

I do QuickTurns and, while it can be promotions, I see it a bit too more often for my liking. I'll keep an eye on it but it's hard to determine for sure. Hopefully, it's just a promotion and, for those who know, how much HP do you regain from promotions?

Given how big the Corporation changes were, can someone explain to me how this affects TR? I thought it was a bug (and I reported on GitHub) but apparently it was intentional that my TR cannot be pillaged after I found Firaxite. Do people notice this in their games too?

I think it is THE big power of Firaxite, invulnerability of TR. It should be written somewhere in the tooltips or the civilopedia, and if it isn't, you can report it as "outdated/unclear tooltips and civilopedia".

Ah okay! Thanks! I couldn't find it in the January version log here on the forum so I wasn't sure. I haven't checked the tooltips or civilopedia yet but, if they're not there, I will report it.

The information is in the civilopedia and probably on the wonder. It's Firaxite's Trade Route Power, just like Civilized Jewelers' Trade Routes move twice as fast. These powers have been on the corporations since near the beginning.

Units gain 10hp on promotion. Certain CS quests provide XP to all units which is one way for a mass of units to get promotions at the same time.
