How long does it take to be able to relinquish a vassal? I accidentally vassalised a civ in a peace agreement and didn't notice.
 
Can I just a couple of question on barbarians. Obviously the player has different advantages against barbarians, except on Deity which seems to be neutral. What I am a bit confused about is the advantages the AI gets against barbs. Prince level for instance, sees player get 30% bonus, whilst AI gets 10%. Is this individually, or does AI get 10% on top of the player bonus which I always thought they did.

Secondly, has the scouting line been changed versus barbarians, as in the latest patch I find my pathfinders are really weak against a barb warrior than I have encountered in the past, & don't get the bonus against them. Is it just military units that get the bonus, & scouting line no longer classed as military units regarding this.
 
Pathfinders and scouts get a combat malus against barbarians.
 
Can someone remind me the formula for how much religion pressure is enough to convert x follower in a city please ?
 
N followers of religion R = R pressure / total pressure * :c5citizen:

A Fractional follower become 1 follower if there are citizens not yet assigned a religion and it is the largest of those left over.

Note that pressure includes nonreligious pressure that isn't visible in the UI yet (and is itself considered a religion).
 
Is there a way to run the game without 2K launcher and company intros at the beginning (I can skip game movie in the options)?
 
Not really a VP question but my search in Civ5 forum returned nothing: Who's playing in 4K and what video settings did you select to get an acceptable sized UI? Any 4K UI mod to improve 4K experience?

I use the original launcher - no frills at all. Just go to the game properties in Steam, and select legacy under the beta menu. There might be some ini settings to knock out the corp intro stuff, but I forget where (and I might be thinking of another game!).

There is no legacy option that I see, its just blank

What happens when a Civ has negative GPT and is losing more than they have in the bank? I’m in a war with Rome and he has no gold and high negative GPT, but I don’t know if that actually affects anything.
