Quick! Quick! Everyone to the other side of the boat!

Well, they shot rockets into Israel. They deserve this pounding they are receiving.

And, sorry to say it, but it only takes one veto to overrule this request. So...

Apologies for 2 picture responses in one thread, but:

And you are right, if it comes down to it, one veto will end this. I like the gesture though, even if it is futile.

Sigh.

Protesting against your own government is vastly different than firing missiles with hostile intent against a neighboring nation.

Glad to see you recognize Palestine as a country.

You mean like raiding government caches for weapons, burning and looting property owned by all the people of Libya, and using tanks and jets in a supposedly lopsided civil war while whining when you get accidentally targeted by NATO?

And how many Palestinians are" firing missiles with hostile intent"? A tiny fraction of them? With what actual casualties? How do you rationalize the murder of thousands of innocent civilians as a direct result?

Haven't we already killed enough Muslims to make up for 9/11?

He should publish his memoirs. Might be a fiction best seller.

See, this is the kinda problem that Israel / Palestine has. You dismiss his protest as fiction? It's certainly not. Though nor are Israel's complaints fiction. Both sides have acted like petty little children. Both sides have done really bad things. There might be a horse to back, but there's no clear-cut good guy.

I didn't say anything of the sort.

How does one fire rockets into a neighbouring nation without being outside that nation, in another?

Good question. Why don't you ask the media that propagandized this civil war and covered what occurred in such an obviously lopsided manner?

Not a lot. But internally they are legitimizing their governing body and allowing the troublemakers to remain in power.

Are you begging the question?

If Palestine is not a country, how can they have shot a rocket at a neighboring nation?

You don't need to be a country to shoot rockets at another nation. I honestly don't see the correlation. Ask the Chechens if you need an example.

I was not aware Palestinians lived under their own sovereignty at this time..

It's not all that different. One is an escalated form of the other. Sometimes the protests get heeded. Other times they are "quelled."

What would you do after a much more powerful government than yours openly practiced apartheid against your people while killing thousands of innocent civilians over the course of decades through terrorist acts?

Wouldn't you be screaming WOLVERINES?

"Another nation" as in "a nation that is separate and distinct from this nation"

You find me a Russian official who has ever said Chechen rebels have launched terrorist attacks in another nation, when they meant Russia, and I will buy you a litre of vodka.

On a somewhat related note, why would you object, in the first place, to the idea of giving Palestinians their own country?
