I played as the Russians.

Can you check that Sweden is able to build Musketmen? I just got gunpowder and there is no option to build them. I can build Buccaneers, but not Musketmen.
 
Yeah, it replaced the Continental Marine though.
 
Actually that was my bad. The Karolin units replace more than just one unit. The Buccaneer is replaced by the earlier one, and the later one replaces the Continental Marine.

The Karolins can be used like either class. So Sweden does not build Musket or Riflemen.
 
Okay. I am not able to build either of those units.

EDIT: Okay, I can build the Karolin Regular. I just needed the right Tech ;)

The other Karolin unit I can't build, but I can build the Buccaneer. It seems odd, though, not to have a musketman equivalent.
 
Alright, still working on Majesty, here is a small update:

-I've worked "Warprizes" mod comp into the mod, and removed the old coding. Ships should now be able to, with a small chance, capture enemy ships defeated in battle, should make naval combat more interesting.

-Many, many bugs have been eliminated

-New Steampunk units, like the Land Ironclad, have been added.

-The trade ships have been reworked. They are no longer national units, but expensive units that require gold to be built.

-I've streamlined the unit upgrade paths. My goal is to eliminate units from old eras being buildable later in the game.

-A new Civ, the Khazars, have been added. They also represent Kiev and later Ukraine, I hope to expand on this part of the civ later.

New version won't be out yet. I still have some testing to do.
 
I'm interested, especially in the Steampunk units.
 
I really like those. The first one looks like a legit guy who cares for your soul, while the second guy with the pot looks like someone like Benny Henn who just wants your money.

Oh and its perfectly fine to post that kind of stuff in this thread. :goodjob:

i have made the final changes in one of the units and i post the image here. what i did was i darkened the costume and removed the halo. the only thing that is left is to test the unit in game which i plan to do soon :) .

IMPORTANT ( :) ): this unit now uses the christian missionary kfm and NOT the great prophet's. so now i actually have 3 units:
a) one that uses the great prophet's kfm (see image with halo in previous post)
b) one that uses the Missionary General's kfm (see image with CEO holding the pot in previous post)
c) one that uses the christian missionary kfm (see image in this post)

hope i didn't confuse you but when it comes to the default units i can do many variations :) :)
also, with the right textures you can have even more variations! for example, if you have someone in your team that is good with textures, with a few changes he can make the unit whose image i post here look like a modern catholic priest :) .
 
basically i took the CEO model and put it into 3 different units :) . now the plan is not to make them look the same with eachother but as close as we can to what they are supposed to represent.
for example, i finally finished the unit that uses the christian missionary kfm after making some more changes and thoroughly testing it with nifscope (am i a perfectionist or what :D ) and now all that's left is to "name" it. i'll post the final image here (i promise no more changes :) ) so you can tell me what you think.
personally, i believe the name "(modern) christian preacher" suits this unit fine :) . ofcourse, the most important thing is if you actually like the unit :) so please tell me what you think on that matter too :).
