I finally got it to work. I changed my page cache and then updated my video card. Here is my dx. Also, here is what the people at Dell told me to do.
you have the most recent bios. downflashing to A31 might even be preferable as it runs a bit cooler. as for video drivers, dell has not offered updates in sometime. you can download drivers from ati.com and then use this program (moblity modder) to install them: http://www.driverheaven.net/patje/
This got it all to work so far. I haven't tried it on all maps but it wokrs nicely.
edit: So, not all of it is fixed. I just see shadows in place of the animal resources.
