I thought "Go" was the shortest.

It isnt a gramtical sentence as the verb has no subject. As "go" is intransitive, it doesn't need an object, but it does need a subect to be a complete sentence. In Japanese, the equivalent "iku" is a complete sentence, in fact, this can also be true for transitive verbs.

Well, since we're talking about grammar:

In the sense intended, "Go" would be an imperative sentence. Therefore, the subject would be an understood you. Based on this information, it could be counted as a legitimate grammatical sentence.

It's certainly understandable from an appropriate context- but I wasn't aware that it could be regarded as a gramatically complete sentence.
