Random Rants 4: Keep Complaining

Actually, after a while it does get kind of funny.

And given that there are about 25 independent tenants here and 50 or so numbers, on occasion I will get a chain of either the same person or different people from the same company calling over and over again and never realizing it's the same person answering.
 
Why can't any of my roommates handle doing dishes? Long story short, I took a different spring break than all of my roommates (I live in a house with 6 other guys on campus), and when I got back, I find both sinks overflowing with dishes as well as all counter space and most of the stove top taken up by dirty dishes. I mean, yeah, I volunteered to do dishes with the condition that I don't have to do much other cleaning, but if I'm gone for a week, do the damn dishes! It wouldn't be as bad, but one of them NEVER cleans his food off his dishes. He drinks this brown stuff (I think it's some sort of chocolate drink or something, but it's powdered) and doesn't rinse out his glasses, so by the time I get to them, the bottom of the cup is caked brown and it has to sit in soap for an hour before I can get it out. And when he makes his noodle stuff, he eats like 3/4 of it and then tosses the pot he used in the sink with 1/4 of his uneaten noodles just sitting in it. :mad:

I really need to be more assertive and just say "Hey if you don't take care of your uneaten food and attempt to rinse your dishes off, I'm throwing them on your bed until you do."
 
It's pronounced "ask" not "aks" and "birthday" not "birfday"...

...and it's spelled "lose" not "loose".

I hate this intern as a teacher. She's taken over the class for about a month.

Why? SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY ASSIGN A DUE DATE. Always too early.

First of all, we have a paper to write in Math. Maybe learn how to DISCUSS IT PROPERLY AND GO OVER IT FOR LONGER THAN 30 SECONDS!

Also, it's a one-page, double-spaced paper due tomorrow assigned today on the infamous "locker problem".

Maybe it would help if she also DIDN'T ASSIGN US 40 MATH PROBLEMS AS WELL!!!

This is 8th Grade Algebra 1. Sure, this is supposed to be a rigorous class run like a high school class. We have a mid-term and a final. We have 3-4 nights where we have homework. There's lots of note-taking. Most of the problems are from the book. There are quizzes 2 days after we go over stuff.

I can handle all those things. This I cannot. There is a point where it goes from rigorous to ridiculous. Assigning an essay and 40 problems due the day after they're assigned is ridiculous.

Also, maybe she should learn math more before seeking a teaching career in math. SHE MAKES MISTAKES ALL THE TIME!!!

We have this thing in our class called "prize points". You correct the teacher/do extra assignment assigned by teacher, he gives you prize points. You get the most, you get a prize (usually an Arch Card). I've scored 20 off of her. Many prize points have been popping up.
 
Why didn't I take Algebra 1 in 7th grade?

BECAUSE MY SCHOOL THINKS WE'RE COMPLETE IDIOTS, SO THEY OFFER IT IN 8TH GRADE ONLY!!! :mad: [pissed]
