Random Rants 4: Keep Complaining

Windows Live Messenger easily has more bugs than every other program I use. And when I say every I mean combined.

I hear ya.

Unfortunately I cannot read it because MSN won't log me in.

My rant:

The support staff my pod has (we use the pod system in my school):

I have Asperger's Syndrome. I have some social difficulties that come out when I'm in the house, but I'm fine out in school, so I have an IEP. My parents are thinking of just dropping the IEP altogether next year. I'm a genius and have genius IQ.

What do they do? They interrupt me during class for ridiculous reasons. Even when I'm taking tests, they interrupt me.

Example: One of the aides took me out of Math class while the teacher was taking notes for about 3 minutes just to give me a stupid study guide for Social Studies. I GET A'S, WHY DO I NEED ONE?

Even in specials, they impede my learning process. In Latin, he came over and checked my assignment book for about 3 minutes. I mean physically took my binder and got my assignment book out and checked it. I don't use it. I have a photographic memory and don't even have to CHECK the online assignments for it.

By far, the most grievous incident: You see, my school has Algebra 1 midterms and finals. I got a B on the matching part. Then, the case manager comes in and interrupts me while I am taking my midterm, busily writing and checking my answers JUST TO GIVE ME A STUPID STUDY GUIDE! I'M DILIGENTLY TRYING TO GET A GOOD GRADE FOR THE SAKE OF MY BUTT, AND THEN, HE COMES IN, INTERRUPTS ME IN THE SECOND-BIGGEST TEST OF MY MIDDLE SCHOOL YEAR JUST TO GIVE ME SOMETHING AS PEDESTRIAN AS A STUDY GUIDE THAT I NEVER EVEN FRIGGIN' USE, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!

It turns up that for the word problem part, I lost my concentration and bearing for the test, my attention turns to Social Studies, which spurs a chain to me thinking about the test that I'm going to ace without studying, which results in me getting a D on that part, which results in me getting a C on my midterm, which results with me getting grounded for a week.

They could just give it to me during Study Hall. They could give it to me transitioning to classes. They could give stuff to me for a long time. I could understand if it was for something like resolving a dispute or to work for a long time. But for something as minimally important such as a STUDY GUIDE WHICH I DON'T EVEN USE? Unacceptable.

Also, I got grounded for a week for getting a B in Social Studies. We have these current events reports. I got a crapload of news stories, which I tried to not keep in a notebook. My mom goes through my binder in a surprise binder check, and throws away all but 12 precious stories. This brings my grade down a grade. B is good. B means you can do better. Not bad. I snuck on the upper computer to still access IM and the usual places I go to, despite the crappy speakers and headphones. It's my dad's backup work computer.

End Of Very Long Rants.

What programs do you have? Paint and minesweeper? You can't have Windows Media Player, because I don't think there is anything more buggy.

iTunes, son. iTunes.

I still don't understand why teachers feel the need to assign homework over spring break. It's brought up time and time again, but it just makes no sense. It's vacation, as in time when you do things other than school. As in most people will be away from home and busy the whole time, so they can't do their work until maybe the evening before returning. Assigning an entire sample AP Calc test plus more is just plain stupid. I'm so glad I'll be out of here soon.

I really can't stand it when people talk about how smart they are. It's incredibly tacky.

A genius that can't ace basic algebra in middle school with his eyes shut? Best evidence ever against the validity of IQ tests

Come now, surely you know better than that. IQ does not necessarily equal math proficiency nor does genius mean math proficiency. :p

I do find it a bit fishy though. :crazyeye:

I don't think I've ever finished an IQ test, now that I think about it...

I did Algebra 1 in my sixth grade summer. It's not too hard when I look back on it. Algebra II is gonna be hell my friend.

I never went anywhere or did anything, and I still waited until the night before for those things. I never understood the point of it, either. If it's to make up for lost time, then just get rid of the break.

You can't do that. It's it's..... inhuman.

I'm stuck in the "Happy Man's Dilemma", which although not as bad as other dilemmas, is really, really annoying and psychologically consuming.

Basically, I have to choose between two girls. :p They are both in the same high school as me, they both like me a lot as far as I can tell, they have their goods and their bads, they don't know about each other, but if I keep going with both of them they will find out very soon.

Trust me, although such choice might seem as heaven to some people, it's extremely consuming for the guy stuck in the middle. Especially if, as in my case, you can't tell to which of them you have stronger feelings. Basically, no matter what choice I make, I will lose one of them (or both, if I continue) and it will be bad. In the same time, none of them is safer than the other, one might be a liar and might have actually mimed the whole thing and the other might be an irresponsible kid with no intention of a longer relationship.

WTH should I do? :crazyeye:

Which one is better in the sack?

Which one is better in the sack?

The one that might be a liar and might have actually mimed the whole thing, definitely, and she's also from a region where girls have a reputation for being easy to get (the republic of Moldova, those beautiful girls dream of us rich Romanians to come and take them :p). And she's probably more experienced in sex than the other one too.

I'm pretty sure we need pictures in order to tell you what to do. ;)
