To more than a hundred miles away from Cutlass?

'Muricans claim that Celsius degrees are too large and kilometres too small, so I'm not sure that you're safe.

Also, rant: my printer has decided to be playful. I clean it, transport it carefully, feed it paper, plug it in… and then it decides that, if I am not willing to pull out the black ink cartridge and then place it back in, it has ‘run out of ink’. Also, even if the file is completely in black and white, it won't print unless I set it to do only B&W because reasons (perhaps I should also pull out the YMK cartridge and then place it back in?).

Most printers are possessed by demons around 4:45pm on Fridays.

What model of printer?
We had problems like that before my partner installed ink tanks into a Canon. We
got sick of paying enormous amounts for cartridges. Bonus is we've never had
those false alarms about running out of ink since.

it's hard not to be a spam when every "Prove You Are Not A Robot" ends up badly . Those who do not respect find it tough to get respect , ı don't know , 'cause they are accustomed to it . But then , ı am the last person on earth , right ?

why , to be hounded out even there as well ? Not even my wasted 10 years makes the grade these days .

To me Juneteenth is a far more profound observance. The real birth of freedom in the United States - and the real Revolution - is the Civil War, not the War of Independence.

I'm thinking it was a bit later than that, some time after Malcolm X's "Ballot or
Bullet" speech. Maybe addlepated Aussies should keep out of it - we're not
the best of examples ourselves. :)

well , one of these days , one of these days , but "people" can brag a bit ; they are considered important enough to be kept out of a snap that might have been coming . Now that my web life has always improved and stuff . Whenever ı get the rant in . Which is worthy of a cringworthy rant in itself . This time instead of cutting the link after 3 attempts , that am possibly a bot , ı had 20 minutes of unbroken attempts . Managed two . At least 3 correct answers in a series with 5 puzzles that do not get the answer button itself and a 6th that will be considered wrong . And says gotta comeback in 120 minutes . And people question why ı want to level the world from one end to the other . Neverminding ı can download from a host , like compensation , long missing .

Tomatos have the advantage that they make a mess if they hit something.
Asparagus has the advantage that it's terrible and you aren't wasting food.

But it makes your wee smell funny. That's the gold standard of food.

There's an entire town in the next county over from me that would disagree. :)

I never thought a conversation about asparagus would ever be Godwinned. You live and learn.

They both fall under the same broad category of Bad Things Some People Inexplicably Like.
