Even better! :p You should get a girl. A nice shag once in a while usually gets up your spirit. And girls are good at making you feel less pathetic :)
 
I felt the rise of that old familiar feeling... I hated it... I welcomed it... I lied to myself that it was over. I was still alive. My loved ones were still dead. It wasn't over. As surely as the bullet rips through the victim's flesh, organs, and bone, it shatters the image of the man who pulled the trigger. Like all the bad things in my life, it started with the death of a woman. I couldn't save her.

Life knows two miseries; getting what you want and not getting what you want. Home sweet home. Something in the night felt like a door had been opened, an echo of the past, an old monster snapping its eyes open in the depths of my brain. Closing your eyes forces you to look at the darkness inside. The past is a gaping hole. You try to run from it, but the more you run, the deeper, more terrible it grows behind you, its edges yawning at your heels. Your only chance is to turn around and face it. But it's like looking down into the grave of your love, or kissing the mouth of a gun, a bullet trembling in its dark nest, ready to blow your head off.
 
My last exam for this semester starts in two hours and it's about the European Union.
I think I spent enough time to prepare but there's just so much that could be asked, and I'll have two write two essays. I haven't written an essay in years.
Worst thing: I had the exam last semester and I failed it on purpose because I didn't want to pass with a mediocre grade. Now I am under even more pressure and have to ace it to justify last year's tactical fallback.
 
My stupid school is still trying to insist on classes starting up again in the afternoon and my professor hasn't emailed about not having class, which means I'll probably have class, but I have no means to get there since there's giant piles of snow on my road and my mom is taking my truck to work and my brother is being an ass and won't let me borrow his car and I've got a test on tuesday in this class so I really can't miss it if it's on and a lab too and I don't want to waste my excused lab on an easy one in the beginning of class. Stupid school can't just close like every other place on the island.
