yea

You'd have to try hard to make me believe that isn't the stupidest trope that has existed in anything ever

Do you really want to have a stupidest trope contest?

Also, yay, there's a Ladybug wiki!

people aren't tropes

I would have been surprised if there wasn't a Ladybug wiki. It's Rule 34b: if something exists, there is a wiki about it.

agreed

Crate minds think alike.

You certainly know your Japanese cartoon tropes.

That said, given that the pound just fell again ahead of the PM's speech tomorrow, I suppose I should have saved that references for the Rants thread.
From my perspective, if it falls even more, I might have a ghost of a chance of being able to afford some of those Fighting Fantasy supplemental books I found on eBay and can't afford because of the exchange rate that's even worse than the rate between CAD and USD.

My own rave: I took my other computer in to be repaired, and just got a phone call from the technician. Things are not as bad as I was afraid they were, he fixed everything, and the bill is "free." He's not charging me anything.

It's going to be nice to have my games and Netflix back, and I might be able to find the Doctor Who Christmas special online somewhere (missed it because I don't get the channel that showed it on TV and no way to watch it on my XP).

Titan and Out of the Pit? If so, might I recommend the new versions for 2nd Edition AFF? Titan / Out of the Pit

I have both of those. There are some others that were never available in Canada, or at least if they were, it was only at the larger bookstores. There appears to be a supplement to Out of the Pit, and another one that goes into more detail about NPCs and large battles. Not that I plan to do any of that in the actual gamebooks, but now that I've been novelizing some of them, I want to have some more reference materials to help expand the stories more. After all, I decided that the character in the Sorcery! series (female) and the character in the Caverns of the Snow Witch/Forest of Doom story arc (male) are going to meet at some point, and 25 years later, their son will be the person who finally survives Deathtrap Dungeon. I know this makes a mess of the established chronology, but I don't really care. I'm reasonably true to the events and spirit of the gamebooks, and the rest of it is my own take on the stories.
