I had the most awesome historical dream. :goodjob:

The year 1916 Berlin Germany and I was a German soldier fighting on the front lines. For some reason the front line was in Berlin clearly the war had not gone well. The trenches were a road over from the Reichstag and suddenly I discovered a breakthrough that would win the war for us gloriously poison gas. Mustard and chlorine specifically. So I went to Reichstag and met with Hindenburg inside and I told him we should the gas on the allies to crush them and win the war. He told me no that the rules of war did not allow it. I told him this was a new technology had no rules governing its usage yet. He told me regardless the rules of war must be followed. So I went back to the front line and shouted "Hindenburg has betrayed us! He has betrayed Germany!" and gathered a group of soldiers and we went to the Reichstag and overthrew Hindenburg.

Then my dream ended. I wonder if Germany won the war.

Damnit. If young Germans are still dreaming like this, we obviously didn't get it right the first two times...

Because thats the general consensus.

@Nordstream: Wow, that was eye-opening!
From where on the world are you from, BTW?

That is a complicated question. Let me say European. Technically I am German by birth but I only lived there for the first 2-3 years of my life. I've spent most of my time in other European countries and US, Canada, UK, Australia because of my parents work.

I think he's German.

sort of but I rarely feel it.

Hey Nordstream, sprichste Deutsch, Alter?
If he passes my test, I'll give him my approval. :)

I think you asked me if speak German and my age. But to be honest I haven't spoken the language since I was like 3. I have a rather odd situation where I can't read or write in German but I can understand spoken German perfectly but if someone talks to me in German I respond in English. I could respond in German if I really tried I suppose but I would have to think of each word I want to use. It's odd I know.

But on a positive note I'm totally awesome at English, pretty proficient in Spanish in speaking, reading and writing, and can do broken French.

The lost land will be returned! :sniper: :ar15:

I think very few people got anything right in the time period of 1914-1945.

Same here, except for Flemish, same situation too, I lived there for my first 2 years and then moved to Canada...

That's a pretty epic dream.

I had a dream recently that I went to the shops to buy some Brie cheese and then the shopkeeper sang a song about cheese. :(

I can't even remember the song. :( :(

From just one week of working out everyday I've already tripled how many pushups and doubled how many sets of curls I can do and my arm already seems pretty much all firmed up. Only problem is my triceps are still way too small in comparison to my biceps.
