Tired of watching your iron - age armies trudge off to mortal kombat protected only by a loincloth, ocelotl - pelt legwarmers and a cute smile? I may be able to help...
... I made these a long time ago, I was always pissed off the art style for the Nayarit spearman or whatever looked like he'd just got out of the bath and picked up a stick . . . so these are totally imaginary classical armoured meso-y/south - America - y/no-effin-idea-y polearm units. do with them what you wish.
as usual I'm too slack to get screenies in - game so there's a coupla nifskope images, and a bit of text telling you what anims to use.... one unit is (="meso_heavy_spearman") and the other (="mesoarmouredpikeman") has two versions with different shields. the second one spells out a RUDE WORD in mayan glyphs. There's a special prize for the first right answer. There's a better prize for the first wrong answer, as by nature I am quixotic.
I made these ages ago and did some last minute optimizing on them, and I'm terribly proud.
Please report anything wrong or changes you might once, I've had to give up professional skiing for ethical reasons and time drags (at least until the Polo season starts again)
