Real Strategy (AI) 2.3.1

Great mod, your approach to improve AI is in my opinion fantastic.

Are you working on adding more stuff, or it is basically complete for the time being? Just the curious man inside me.

I don’t plan to add any big features unless there will be addd new functionalities to the game.
I still want to work on balancing and fine-tuning however, but atm I wait for the patch to appear. Imho some balancing and maybe some AI improvements are on the way, so I will need to adjust RST anyway.
 
Infixo, do you plan to do anything on the combat tactical side of the AI...?
Not much can be done now.
Most of tactical AI is within the DLL, so the source code is needed. E.g. pathing is there, usage of singular units, all behavior tree nodes are coded there, etc.
XML/SQL parameters affect tactical side only in very limited ways, like e.g. operation team composition.

I just had a session - there were 2 votes cast at the same turn.
1) The vote was cast to help my empire out after a natural disaster. ALL players voted in favor of helping me, including those at war with me. Clearly shouldnt be so. Also, the logic is unclear why ALL players would vote for such help, including those who have bad relations with me (red, sad face symbol). Keep in mind that all participating players send me gold gifts during the emergency contest and even more - do that cumulatively almost every turn.
2) After I took AI's capital city, the vote was cast if military emergency is about to occur. THe player conquered voted just 1 vote for it, although he should have put all his diplomacy power in favor of this emergency. Sadly, he burned a lots of political power to help me with the natural disaster emergency.

Please fix.

A very small question, do you know if it is pissible to tweak how willing is or how much resources a leader commits to the different aid projects and competitions? Im not sure if u have done anything in that respect, but it is something im interesting in modding, cause it adds a lot of flavour to the leaders.

I don't think it is possible via .xml / .sql. I have not seen any AI parameters related to the execution of aid projects or competitions. I am afraid it is all hidden in the DLL.
 
Hi Infixo, I would really like to use this mod, but it keeps breaking my game. I've disabled all other mods and yet I still get the crash message when starting a game. Where can I look for the issue?

This error means that your game files are not updated for version 1.0.0.328 (June Patch). The June Patch introduced CurtinDiplomacy and RST v1.4.1 was updated specifically for that.
 
.@Infixo Thanks for your time to take look. No I did not this time so you can see all the mods that I have. May I ask you to please tell me how to fix the errors (apart from the patch)?

@Hara-Kiri As I already wrote - update the game with June Patch.
As for the other errors it is better to report them and ask for assistance from the authors of the respective mods. I’d rather not trespass into their territory.
