Rebels With a Cause

Hey EQ, roughly how often will we be seeing updates (daily, every other day, weekly, ect.)?

I would like to do them rapidly, hence the short faction segments. There won't be one coming this weekend, but I will be starting the next update on Monday.

Starting work on the update now, but I am rather busy at work, so this one may not arrive until tomorrow. Ye've been warned.

Looking forward to it.

Update 1: May, 2036

National News Reports

EXECUTION RAISES DEMANDS FOR IMMEDIATE GOVERNMENT RESPONSE IN STARY SOBOR. President Pishchalnikov has faced growing pressure from international interests to respond to a situation in the town of Stary Sobor. A terrorist group known as the Most Christian State has begun forcibly conscripting local citizens and kidnapping western journalists. A Polish journalist was captured and executed by this group by being burned alive, and the videos were released to the internet. The Polish government has responded sternly to the Pishchalnikov administration, demanding immediate action against this group before they become an even more serious problem. The president has announced the formation of a large army task force dedicated to an aggressive response against these terrorists, pledging that a major operation is about to be launched in Stary Sobor and surrounding areas to discover the primary camp of this group. He has stated that overwhelming force will be brought to bear including armor and air support to wipe out these religious radicals.

BRUTAL SLAUGHTER MAKES INTERNATIONAL HEADLINES. What has become known as the Massacre of Pustoshka has begun gathering press throughout the former states of the Russian Federation. Al-Jazeera has released an exclusive report detailing the slaughter of over two thousand men, women, and children in the small town of Pustoshka. Those killed were members of Chernarus’ Tatar minority, most of the Islamic faith. The organization known as the Royalist Chernarus Militia has been declared responsible for the massacre, but Al-Jazeera reporters have alleged that local police and military authorities allowed the slaughter to happen without any attempt at intervention. President Pishchalnikov has faced criticism for his lack of action, but has responded with a pledge to beef up checkpoint security, deploying armor to the Pustoshka region and doubling the number of checkpoints and their garrisons. The Turkish president has warned against further discrimination against Chernarus’ Islamic minority, implying that another Turkish military intervention along the Black Sea could be possible if the situation continues to deteriorate.

Faction Reports

Brotherhood of the Ten Scorpions
Spoiler :

The villagers of Pogorevka seem to be left alone by the military and are peacefully tending to their crops.

The villagers of Rogovo seem to be left alone by the military and are peacefully tending to their crops.

An opportunity was discovered in Pulkovo that could build support for us among the local peasantry.

Turn Stat Changes
-No Changes

Opportunity: Our scouts have discovered that Pulkovo is in the grip of a ruthless crime lord that kills on a whim and oppresses the local peasantry. He has the unofficial support of local elements of the military and a group of bodyguards armed with assault rifles. He lives in a fortified compound outside of town and maintains radio contact with the army garrison in Zelenogorsk, who will come to his aid if attacked. If we could manage a full scale attack on this property, killing the drug lord and his men, we will indubitably gain the extreme affection of the villagers of Pulkovo. Of course, it is likely to be a costly assault, and we may wind up expending more lives and ammunition than it is worth.

Cell 60
Spoiler :

Scouts on the docks reported too much unwelcome attention being given them by dock guards, were unable to identify any special shipments.

Student at self-defense classes unwittingly reports an opportunity.

Turn Stat Changes
-No Changes

Opportunity: One of the students at our self-defense classes for women was heard discussing the captain of one of the destroyers stationed at the docks in Berezino. He apparently has a violent temper and an appreciation for the fairer sex. We have learned the location of his current mistress, who he visits without any guards. This presents a number of options for us. The captain is married to a distant relative of President Pishchalichov, and would be extremely vulnerable to blackmail, giving us an asset on the inside of the Chernarus navy. On the other hand, a public assassination of the captain would be a very visible demonstration of our reach, and gain us more support among the population. Lastly, if we kidnapped him, we could ransom him for whatever material reward his crew and family would part with.

Chernarus Free State
Spoiler :

Scouts patrolling 0106 found nothing of interest nor any opportunities to strike, just wilderness and a few quaint cabins.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

-1,000 Credits for construction

Chernarus People’s Army
Spoiler :

Food brought to Pavlovo increases local support, but it seems unlikely that any more food donations will do much more to garner further support. Citizens report an opportunity.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

-50 Credits, +5% Support from Pavlovo for food donations
+1 Personnel from Pavlovo volunteer

Opportunity: A worker at the Pavlovo gas station has reported that a convoy of military trucks laden with supplies and guards is on its way to reinforce the task forces to the north manning the checkpoints. They report that the convoy will be lightly defended and will travel along the north road to Zelenogorsk. This offers a prime opportunity for an ambush, but could draw unpleasant investigation and attention to our informant.

Chernarusan Social Liberation Front

No activity undertaken.

Deadman Cabal
Spoiler :

Thugs sent to Vybor were arrested at local army checkpoints looking for culprits behind recent attacks. No release information given.

Thugs sent to Lopatino were arrested at local army checkpoints, after being wrongfully identified as members of a rebel movement.

Scouts unable to find any corrupt officials among checkpoint task force.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

-500 Credits from vehicle purchases
-1,000 Credits from construction
+50 Credits, +20 Drugs from production
-5 Personnel from arrested during Vybor scouting
-10 Personnel from arrested during Lopatino scouting

Factory Boys
Spoiler :

Vigilante justice in Drozhino has paid off well, as our fighters have helped dramatically suppress crime in the town. We may have discovered an opportunity to destroy local organized crime.

Scouts on Kurgan spotted no unusual activity.

We were unable to gain any significant information about the factory activity in Drozhino.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

+10% Support in Drozhino from crime-fighting
+1 Personnel from volunteer from Drozhino

Opportunity: Our vigilante dealings have discovered a ring of organized drug dealers and pimps who blight Drozhino’s streets. They are responsible for most of the criminal activity and drug trade in town. One of our people has identified an impending gathering of these gang leaders an recognized a chance to assault them directly in the warehouse they are meeting in. The warehouse is likely to be well guarded and we cannot count on the support of local law enforcement or people. Still, even a failed assault on the meeting will likely lead to the deaths of several gang leaders, and weaken the drug trade.

Greater Slavia Revival Movement
Spoiler :

Scouts to Kumyrna found the remains of a Soviet-era facility, mostly just foundations left, nothing useful. Unfortunately a government patrol was camped there, and a brief firefight ensued, our forces withdrew.

Scouts to the Kumyrna Mission found an opportunity.

Scouts sent to Guglovo returned empty-handed, unable to successfully infiltrate the village.

Two scouts were killed while scouting in Mogilevka, likely by elements of the criminal underworld. No useful information recovered by other scouts.

Infiltration in Vyshnoye found the village to be completely quiet with nothing of interest going on.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

-600 Credits from arms purchases
-3 Personnel, -10 Ammunition from Kumyrna firefight
-2 Personnel from murdered in Mogilevka

Opportunity: Our scouts to the mission neighboring the ruins of Kumyrna have found it to be fully staffed by Western missionaries. Consisting mostly of Poles, they have luxuries and assets far beyond those of most Chernarusans. Raiding the mission could provide us with a moderate amount of credits, with very little risk to the raiders. On the other hand, it could attract negative attention from abroad.

Holy Russian Empire of Chernarus
Spoiler :

Bank intelligence gathering in Vybor unsuccessful, beyond superficial and obvious security measures being present.

Hotel staff infiltrated at a major Vybor hotel, an opportunity has emerged.

Investigations into convoys and the Vybor garrison have turned up nothing. Numbers of the checkpoint crews are clearly known, possessing over three hundred soldiers, and various vehicles, including APCs. No chances emerged to create experimental roadblocks due to a lack of personnel and heightened patrols on the roads.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

-755 Credits from arms purchases

Opportunity: Thanks to the diligent efforts of our agents we have an opportunity to abduct a wealthy American businessman visiting Vybor. Our agent has offered us a back way into the facility, giving us two options. We can kill the businessman, who is unpopular with locals, or kidnap and ransom him. Killing him would grant us local support in Vybor, but ransoming him will likely bring in a good amount of dividends for our war effort. Unfortunately, doing either will expose our agent and cause security to tighten for future operations.

Jess’s Angels
Spoiler :

Light Helicopter found a small and isolated army camp in 0604, opportunity emerges.

Charity provided to Grishino happily accepted, but further charity unlikely to buy much more support.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

-1,000 Credits from construction
-500 Credits from vehicle purchases
-6 Fuel from light helicopter scouting
-250 Credits, -4 Fuel, +10% Support in Grishino from charity work
+2 Personnel from volunteers from Gishino
+50 Credits from production

Opportunity: Our light helicopter pilot reported seeing an army patrol encamped in the wilderness and isolated from any other forces. They appear to be engaged in a number of nasty activities, including forced prostitution from the women of Grishino. Wiping this camp out will likely provide us with both weapons and more support from the local population. On the other hand, as soldiers they are well-armed and could inflict heavy casualties upon us should we fail to take them by surprise.

Liberal Army
Spoiler :

Propaganda efforts in Krasnostov (11, 03) have proven successful, and offered a new opportunity.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

+1 Legitimacy from public speech
-1,000 Credits from construction
-500 Credits from arms purchases
-200 Credits from recruitment
+50 Credits from income
+5% Support in Krasnostov from propaganda efforts

Opportunity: Local shopkeepers and middle class are sympathetic towards our cause, but they are all scared of the mysterious movement known as the Eye, which has high popularity among the lower classes. There is an unofficial recruitment center for volunteers in Krasnostov that assists the Eye. If we kill the leaders and set fire to this building we could reduce the amount of support given to The Eye in Krasnostov, as well as gain some more support for ourselves. On the other hand, such a strike could put us at war with another rebel faction and take the focus off of our concerns about the government.

Most Christian State of Chernarus and the Black Sea
Spoiler :

Pressganging in Stary Sobor outskirts (0507) leads to mass conscription, and new recruits are put through training. They aren’t particularly happy.

Polish journalist reporting on Stary Sobor conscriptions detained and executed when studio refused ransom.

Ambushers waiting on the Stary Sobor-Kabanino road never had any opportunity to strike at military forces, as none passed through.

Scouts in Stary Sobor found an opportunity for our forces.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

-1,000 Credits from construction
-1,000 Credits from arms purchases
+288 Personnel, +30 Notoriety, -30% Support in Stary Sobor from pressganging conscripts
-5% Support, +10 Notoriety in Stary Sobor from execution of Western journalists
+3 Personnel from Stary Sobor volunteers

Opportunity: Scouts in Stary Sobor have identified the local commandant of the garrison and his family, who reside locally. His family’s house is guarded by the garrison, but it is far less well defended than the garrison itself. Attacking the house could strike fear into the army, and if we took him hostage, offer a chance to ransom him from the local garrison. Worst case, killing him could set back any local military operations against us. On the other hand, such a brazen attack could diminish our already weakened support among the people of Stary Sobor.

Royal Chernarus Militia
Spoiler :

Military forces sent into Pustoshka have successfully removed kebabs, all Tatars in the village were slaughtered. Local villagers assisted in our efforts, while the military and police garrisons turned a blind eye.

Scouts in Pustoshka have reported a high amount of dislike for the Tatar population among the garrison and police, the garrison consists of less than fifty men, but they have been reinforced by the 400-man checkpoint taskforce assigned to the region, including with two light tanks and other support vehicles.

The checkpoints have been heavily reinforced, and each have at least one heavy machine gun and armored vehicle. Regular patrols are launched along the roads between the checkpoints every few hours. Helicopters occasionally come up from the south to provide air support to the patrols.

Myshkino has been scouted and there is no garrison present and only a few local constables to preserve order.

Turn Stat Changes
Spoiler :

-1,000 Credits from construction
-250 Credits from arms purchases
-150 Ammunition, +10 Notoriety, +40% Support in Pustoshka from Tatar slaughter
+6 Personnel from Pustoshka volunteers

I will point out that this time, story activity on the thread from here on out will affect your stats. Specifically, the Notoriety and Legitimacy stats. The changes won’t be game-breaking but they will be there for those more active on the thread.

Apologies, but I'll have to drop this. Not enough...meat to it, ya know? Words and whatnot.

Nice update EQ. Poor Tatars D:

I think we might be the bad guys here...

Nice update.

Damn ugly, that’s what this country is. Rashun looked out over the rugged woods and hills, cast in a dull grey thanks to the choking overcast. Damned ugly. He scratched at the tender pink flesh under his chin and looked over his camp. Men dressed in dirty, plain clothes wrestled with a mound of sandbags intent on spilling over and down the hill. An old woman cleaned a rifle, two children crawling over her feet, one getting a smart bop from the barrel when he tried to poke at the gun. A little ways behind the disorganized clump of patchwork tents was a poorly tilled field slanted alarmingly on the hillside. Rashun nodded at a gaggle of men shuffling by at what he assumed was supposed to be some attempt at PT. His scar itched furiously.

He jumped a bit at a holler from behind him, but tried to play it off with a quick sneeze. The others didn’t seem to notice, all good then. He turned in a manner that he hoped looked confident, eyeing the approaching party. His frown broke into a smile and he walked briskly out towards the group, his arms outstretched. ‘Welcome back to paradise brothers! How was work?’

Yulian, a tall man with a small, gaunt face, grimaced. ‘Brought you a souvenir’ he said, pushing a boy ahead of him. The kid stumbled for moment, nearly dropping the old carbine in his shaky hands. Rashun steadied him, his rough farmer’s hands gripping the boy’s scrawny shoulders, and gave him a look. Couldn’t be old enough to even handle a proper drink. His scar itched mockingly.

‘A real fighter, by the looks of it! What’s your name, man?’ Rushun plastered a wide, worryingly fake feeling smile on his face.

The boy cleared his throat, eyes darting around the camp, obviously having some second thoughts about fighting the good fight. You’re a scrawny little thing boy, but don’t you dare leave. At least don’t take the gun, please. ‘Stepen. Uh, Sir. Stepen Kozel.’

Stretching his lips as wide as he could, Rashun clapped the boy on the shoulders and yelled, ‘Stepen! I’m glad to have a soldier like you at my side! Now, take your gun and find a tent, one of my men will get you set up with a unit. Welcome to the People’s Army, brother!’ The boy gave a nervous smile, and then hurried off after one of Yulian’s scouts. ‘At least he brought a rifle,’ Rushun murmured, scratching under his chin.

‘That was one ours, boss. Thought he’d straighten up a bit with some metal in his hands.’

Damnit. ‘We’ll make use of him, everyone’s got a part, right brother?’

Yulian glared at the bigger man for a beat, then shook his head. ‘The food trick isn’t going to work anymore. A couple sacks of grain aren’t going to buy us soldiers.’

‘Not a trick Yulian, they need the food more than we do.’

‘Of course, they’ve got all that fighting to do while we rut in the mud up on this hill, right?’

Rushun’s face darkened, ‘Careful, brother. You know what they’re going through.’

Yulian barked a humourless laugh. ‘I know what it’s like to starve, yes. I also know what it’s like to grab some steel and take back what’s mine. I know which of the two experiences is better, stronger, and I know those folk down there don’t know that. We’re the ones being strong Rushun, and we need to be fed to be strong.’

He stared at Yulian’s beady eyes for a few breaths, and then sighed. This fight never went anywhere anyways. ‘Anything else?’

Yulian held his glare for second, just to make it extra clear he was, and always would be, pissed, then said, ‘Yeah. Our man at the gas station, the fat bugger, he says that Pishchalnikov’s boys are going to come through town on the way to Zelenogorsk in a week or so. Reinforcing that mess up north.’

Rushun raised his eyebrows. ‘Oh? Did our hefty friend tell us what sort of ass they’re pulling?’

‘Just light escorts, mostly. Trucks or light vehicles. Easy to hit, especially with that PKM and RPG we picked up last month. If we set up the grenade launcher a ways into the village, our MG and carbines could…’

‘No.’ Rushun shook his head, waving one hand dismissively. ‘If we hit the convoy, they’ll know someone in Pavlovo tipped them off. Can’t risk it.’ Immediately after he said it he realised his mistake. Ah damn, here it comes.

‘Can’t risk it? Can’t risk it!’ Yulian bared his teeth and snarled, ‘We can’t eat our own food, it’d risk the poor folk in Pavlovo. We can’t take their fighting boys, it’d put them at risk. Can’t risk it!’ His eyes bulged as he screamed in Rushun’s face. ‘Can’t risk it! We’re in a war, we picked up our guns, left our homes, off to fight the bad old general. Can’t risk it though! Better hide in the woods, don’t want anyone to get hurt! In a war! CAN’T RISK IT!? YOU WORTHLESS, PATHETIC, IGNORANT COWA…’ His fist smashed into Yulian’s jaw much harder than he had intended, sending the lanky man flailing over backwards, head knocking hard on the rocky turf. He hadn’t intended to kick his friend in the rib, nor stomp on his chest, not even wail on his cowering head with bloody fists.

Rushun stood straight, took a deep breath. He rubbed his raw knuckles and looked down at his friend, groaning and flinching, blood pouring between his fingers covering his face. They were looking at him. All of them. He couldn’t turn around though, he couldn’t face them, not like this. Now you’ve gone and done it, you big stupid oaf. He took a breath, then crouched down, grabbed Yulian under the shoulders and tugged him up to his feet. He held his shoulders until Yulian steadied himself, then let go and said, loud enough for the rest to hear clearly, ‘We’ll hit the convoy north of Pavlovo, half way to Zelenogorsk. We’ll hit it hard, we’ll hit it fast. No survivors. We don’t fire a shot in Pavlovo, if some lucky bastard crawls back to the village, we’ll drag him out before shooting him.’ He waited a moment, then spun on his heel and bellowed, ‘Get to it you sons-a-es! You’ve got the guns, you’ve got the bullets, and you’ve got a war to fight!’

As the men and women scrambled away, he could feel Yulian’s eyes on his back. Damn did his scar ever itch…

Zhmyh, come over here, you lucky demon! Lemme give you a goddamn hug. Good job on patrolling Drozhino, bratishka [1]. The whole town’s buzzing about your druzhina [2]! My neighbor, a cop, made a slip in speaking the other day. He said the cops haven’t seen such a drop in robberies and hooliganism in seven years. Some people are angry, of course. Mostly the moms and dads of those thugs that your boys kicked in the balls, but you know what, f**k them and their beloved little children. Anyway, pass my gratitude to your boys, man. They’re true working class heroes, unlike those and morons from the Chernorusskaya Narodnaya Armiya [3]. For you, Zhmyh, and for your druzhinniks [4]. Cheers!

*chugs a shot*

Alright, enough cheering, mates. There’s a serious business to discuss. Zhmyh, you told me about that rumor you got from a local pusher. Since you’re the hero of the day, why don’t you just spit it out as it is to the boys here.

Thanks, Seryoga. Um… Long story short. There was this one little tw*t that tried to cell crack near the factory hostel… Me and my boys caught him and we… What? Cut to the chase? Fine. Anyway, there’s going to be a big strelka [5] between two gangs of local bratva [6] in a warehouse on the Serysheva street. Yeah, probably some business talk or, maybe, a big-time deal or something. I think it’s our chance to pin them up against the wall, if you know what I mean.

Here’s the plan. Let’s get some good Kalashnikovs and some ammo with the money Bolt has made during his bookmaker heist in the Zelenogorsk fight. Before the strelka begins and before they secure the warehouse, let’s put several canisters of gas around the building, evenly distributed. Plus spill some gas on the ground too. Cover it with some tarp, maybe, so that they don’t attract any attention. When the bratva gathers and their goons start guarding the perimeter, forty boys should to be taking positions around the warehouse, with two trucks waiting behind the corner to pick our boys up. Two other trucks should block the streets that lead to the warehouse, so that no cops or freaking fire-engines can intervene. No, just block them, like your car broke while you were making a U-turn, y’know what I mean?

Once we’re on positions, we ignite the fuel. How? I don’t know, depending how well they patrol the whole perimeter. Worst comes to worst, just throw a f***ing Molotov’s cocktail. At the same moment, start shooting the goons that guard all that circus, just so that they couldn’t stop the fire. Sooner or later, people inside will start running out of the warehouse. Our boys just need to mow them down at the exit. If some of them choose to stay inside, they’ll get cooked like the f***ing pigs they are.
How does it sound?

Sounds like a plan, Zhmyh. Sounds like a plan. What do we do if they try to break through on some armored limo? Didn’t think this through? I think we gotta buy some RPG or grenades in that case. What? Where do we get that? Vasilyich knows a local non-commissioned officer, he’ll sell us some nice puppy for a bribe. I think that should do.

Any questions, mates? No questions? Alright, then let’s drink for our luck. Cheers!

[*1 – “little brother”;
*2 – warband, or citizen guard;
*3 – Charnarus People’s Army;
*4 – warband fighters;
*5 – criminal meeting;
*6 - mafia]

Summary:
Spoiler :
- Purchase 20 assault rifles for 400 credits;

- Purchase 200 ammo for 1,000 credits;

- Purchase 2 RPG launchers for 200 credits;

- Before the criminal gathering, use required amount of fuel (decided by the game master) to prepare the warehouse to be easily flammable. After the gathering begins, block approaches to the warehouse area with two trucks, as if they broke down. Meanwhile, 40 fighters (armed with 20 assault rifles, 20 carbines, and 2 RPGs, supported by 2 other trucks for mobility) surround the warehouse to have a good aim at all exists. They ignite the fuel and open fire at the guards. When people inside the house try to escape, mow them down with gunfire, or just keep them inside until the fire destroys the building. If mafia tries to escape using some vehicles, destroy them with RPGs. If possible, maraud the location for as many guns, ammo, vehicles, money, and other valuables as possible. Once the mafia is destroyed (or there’s a serious risk of police intervention), all 40 fighters leave the spot on 2 trucks. Other 2 trucks may leave afterwards, they’re not doing anything illegal;

- If curfew or other police measures are placed, freeze all activities for the rest of the month. If not, continue patrolling the town at night with 20 people with carbines against local street crime. Try to get as much info about how our raid affected the state of affairs among local mafia.

Just making sure that it is written that the update will be done Monday. Get those orders in!

Challenge:

We have two real options in solving this oppritunity, the short term and the long term. The short term solution, to just kill the captain and call it a day, seems very tempting at first. We give a show of force, and the city starts supporting us? Would be great for estalishing ourselves as a legitmite force.

However, we have to think long term. Not only are we not prepared for the resulting naval crackdown on us, the man is clearly more useful to us alive than dead. Having a personal mole inside the navy would line us with oppritunities far beyond our reach otherwise. This is simply an opportunity we can not pass up.

Therefore, we shall send three agents to shadow the captain, and find out exactly where this mistress is. After he walks out (important! Probably will put up less of a fight /after/ sex rather than before). have our three agents "escort" the man to a nearby alleyway or other seclude area.

There, we shall tell him we know about his little philandering escappees, but that there's no need for anyone else to know. We would just like to set up a friendly relationship, maybe gossip a bit about his work, no? We will both gain from this relationship, and he can even continue to see his mistress if he wants! After he agrees, we let him go about to his night; no need to further atagonize our new canary

Spending: Still None. Gotta think long term.

Orders: We will send one woman back to the docks, to act as an observant juuuuust to make sure something stupid like the Chernanus Navy docking into the region doesn't just happen under our nose. She should have strict orders to never approach any dock workers, ever. We don't want any further suspicion towards us.

25 more agents, armed with our finest caribes, will participate in a new plan that will alleviate concerns about our lost short term prospects vis-a-vis not killing the captain. We will scour the streets for any leads on any criminals that the cops have not or will not dealt with, and do some vigilante justice on the perpetrators. One partuclar focus should obviously be criminals who exploit women; rapists and pimps will be high on our target list. When we get a successfull kill, we will use a knife to carve a "60" into their forehead, to firmly establish that we will not tolerate any sexist pigs in our city.

Obviously don't target any police or government officials. Yet. We're not ready for that stage

Scorpion Orders

Reach out to Tatar communities, establishing ties in the aftermath of the progrom, offering our services to help protect them, and recruiting young men to join us.

Attempt to scout out crime lord's hide out, try to find a local villager who works there as a servant to learn about the interior. Goal is to find radio, disable prior to attack.

Starting work on the update now.

Spoiler :
Eagle Squad will remain at Camp Freedom on guard. Lightning Squad will be on standby to help any squad that runs into trouble. Hammer Squad will head northeast to scout Lopatino. Thunder Squad will move due east to scout the road between Lopation and Pustoshka. Grizzly Squad will move southeast to scout the town of Myskhkino.

Rules of Engagement remain the same for now: squads are to avoid contact with the enemy at all costs and only return fire if they are attacked. In the event of a firefight against a smaller force, squads must work quickly to overwhelm and subdue the enemy or force them to retreat. If they encounter a larger force, they must work to disengage and break away quickly without allowing the enemy to follow them. If they are unable to disengage, our Reaction Squad (Lightning) will move in to assist them

I'm really excited for this, I'm finally going to do a thing!
