Recruiting for a Diplogame

A thought... Maybe we start a Civ 4 game since the logistics of that are already in place, and while that is going we can keep discussing a Civ 6 game.... by the time it is ready, the new expansion may be out.

I am a real noob at civ 4 but i still enjoy it.

I do have some request :

no barbarians. Historicly rome called any other civilization that hadn't their culture barbaric so historiclly and for roleplaying doesn't make any sence.
NO ancient ruins(goody huts) its way to random and may give some player advantages.

As for that i am in.

Barbarians do make a lot sense, as they can represent wandering tribes and peoples that were too small to have a "civilization". It wouldn't be the same without barbarians in my opinion (they don't have to be raging though). No huts sounds alright, although I have no preference on that.

My requests would be that random events be kept on, as they provide great storytelling and role-playing potential. And secondly that there be no tech trading, as it increases the time spent in each era. Choose religions would be an option, but I do not really have an opinion on that.

IIRC, in Civ4 the Barbs had their own Cities.....which kind of means they make even *more* sense in this case.

I don't play to win i play how i want to play. Roleplaying and by all means post it in civ 4 forum more change of more people

Hello everyone!

Trying to start this up again, but in a bit more free form of a format. Emphasis is on just getting something started rather than requiring a full roster of players. Game would be in Civ 6 and would require the expansions as well.
