While we have differences in fundamental organizational philosophy, we are alike in that we find distasteful aspects of the Warsaw Pact, such as totalitarian and violent systems.

All of the territory that is part of our sphere is so by choice, not by military aggression. This may explain our rather crazy and constantly updating borders. We don't have to force our people to stay with us, and that sets us apart from the Warsaw Pact.

I assume the Allied powers find no trouble in cooperating with a non-totalitarian Socialist nation?

I think just about every territory you listed minus Cuba and Arkansas are already part of the Republic of Virginia.
