ROMANIA TURNS RED! The last baron of the monarchits flees the country as Romania occupies his land and signs the Rome Pact. Romania is officialy red.
ITALY IS COMMUNIST! After an upsetting defeat, the Republicans have surrended to the Communist forces in Rome. The communist Italian government the world over is now recognized as legit. This comes at the same timeas the Rome Pact is signed between USSR, Romania, Poland and Italy. The new alliance hoolds the same ideal of the EDL, to protect the member countries from an outside force. The details of the Italian victories have come in-
The mafia supported Republicans have long been opposed by the people of sicily. When propaganda from the mainland reached Sicily, the populas rose up and joined a new communist army. The near 50,000 partisans took over the soon to be landing site for the main communist force. Meanwhile, the Italian air force, now reaching 450 yaks and 15 russian migs tore the republican navy to shreds. Many captains even refused to fight after the initial battle, where 3 light cruisers were lost to only 6 yaks. The air force of the Republicans were destroyed by angry partisans before take off. 2 divisions then landed and grouped with the Partisan army. They soon launched an attack and captured Catania, the republican capital. The republicans surrendered and avoided execution. The italian fleet and the remains of the army has fallen into Communist hands. The Communists have also constructed a new battleship Victory for the People, aswell as a new Medium Tank brigade. The republican bank and income has been integrated into the new Italy's.

SECOND SPAINISH CIVIL WAR! The spainish crises escalates as communists and republicans are locked in a bitter fight. Many claim this to be the second spainish civil war, the first ended only 12 years ago. The communists have closed in on Madrid and have surrounded the capital of Spain. The Spainish citizens inside fear total war will destroy the city. Meanwhile partisans strike out across spain attacking military bases. The spainish military is unable to drive the powerful Communists away from Madrid, as counterattacks continue to fail. What is really needed is British support as thousands of troops prepare for a battle in Gibralter. A division of Communist troops move on towards Grenada, a small band of militia protects the city. Spain calls for the British troops in Gibralter to save their city. The Communists have lost air supperiority as the Spainish air power rules the sky. Spain's air force brings heavy damage to the large troops formations around Madrid. Spain has begun massive drafts, and have raised 10,000 mech inf, 30 spitfires and 100 Medium Tanks. All of which are helping the bulge in Communist lines where Spainish forces attempt to save madrid. Lack of Communist armor greatly effects the morale of the communists as scores are killed by Spainish armor.

BULGARIA INVADED! Romanian military forces and a division of 10,000 Russian mech infantry smash into Bulgaria's borders. Romanian forces incresed their size recently in anticipation of the assault. The Romanian and Russian forces have taken much ground ad press onto Sofia and Varna. Many join the communist side as propaganda and humanitarian aid help change their minds. Almost 30,000 partisans have joinred with the Romanian forces. The Romanian forces anticipated a quick victory. Bulgariam has held out however and it's military is greatly increased with it's large money reserves. 25,000 mech infantry, 500 medium tanks and 60 spitfires ave helped stem the Romania/Russian assault. This is still not enough to stop them for long. Russia is preparing to send more troops to Bulgaria.

PORTUGAL IN CIVIL WAR! As Communists in Spain gain power, so do those in Portugal. Another 15,000 partisans join their ranks before Portugese military moves in on them. The Portugese army takes heavy casualties, but they have pushed the Communitsts into their final defenses.

TERROR IN ENGLAND! Irish extremists have launched a large scale and well orginized attack on Britian. Parliment is damaged as truck bombs devestate the area. The gunmen were killed before stepping foot in the building. Luckily the Parliment was in recess during the attack. The Tower of Londen suffers a similer fate. A gunfight at Buckingham palace lasts 30 minutes until british troops kill the lot. A truck bomb is found near by, but the wiring was done incorectly and was a dud. A reinforced truck drives through the barricade protecting the prime minister's residence. 12 gunmen are gundown after a 45 minute firefight. The Royal Navel Collage and Air Force Collage are attacked when supoposed tour groups open fire in the middle of the tour. Several werw able to escape, but 7 out of the 10 were gundowned at the naval collage, and 9 at the air force. London Docks takes a hit when a truck bomb detonates next to the security check area. Several gubnmen then begin to attack the workers. They are killed wehn soldiers arrived. The British Museum is held hostage when 20 gunmen smuggled wepaons into the area and kill the security guards. After a 3 hour showdown, almost 100 soldiers storm the museum. They killed the gunmen as several commited suicide rather then be captured. The city Hall of Belfest was also hit, though not as hard. The 3 gunmen were killed on spot. The worst part was dozens of attacks were carried out in major cities where huindreds are injured and killed by seemingly random attacks on popular centers such as resurants and cafes. All the attacks happened between 11 am and 1 pm on the same day. Not 1 member was captured. In total, 100 civilians have been killed and almost 500 injured. A communique between the terrorists an a radical section of the Irish Communist Party has been intercepted by the British military just an hour after the operations were carried out. A reported hundred terrorists still lie in wait in England. The Irish government and even the IRA have condemed the atrocities and say they had no involvemnt.
UK BEEFS UP! After the wake of the attack Britian has enlarged it's army by training 25,000 modern infantry and 250 medium tanks. The British people demand immediate action agaisnt the people responsible for the attack.
SWEDISH COMMUNIST REBELLION FAILS! nearly 5,000 partisans attempt to take over the Swedish capital, but with out any backing in the militatary, government or economy it fails. 1000 Swedish modern inf were killed in the attack.
POLISH REBELS! The polish rebels launched a major operation in which they took over a Polish military base. They have used the supplies to gain another 2500 freedom fighters. The Polish military is starting operations to attack the rebels.
GERMAN MILITARY EXPANSION! German military has enlarged by 50,000 modern infantry and their airforce by 150 spitfires. It is unknown if the European countries will react as germany is close to breaking the treaty of versailles rules on the German military. Reports also come in that German scientists are attempting to learn the secrets of Nuclear weaponry. German forces have dug in along the Oder, waiting for an attack.
ITALY'S COLONIES GO FREE! Itaaly has allowed their colonies to go free. The nations of Libya, Eithiopia and Somalia have formed. This puts pressure on other colonies to be set free as Morroco has asked the Communists to hjelp gain their independence.
KOREAN WAR! North Korea has invaded South Korea. As Seoul falls to North Korean forces, China has moved over 250,000 partisans across the Yalu river. They might soon swallow north Korea whole. Russia is reluctant to go to war with China. The US is assured by China that korea will be united soon, under SOuth Korean rule.
RUSSIA HAS THE BOMB! Russia quickly builds 2 Atom Bombs and replaces it's losses in Bulgaria.
USA UPS THE ENTE! The United States has finished reaserching the Hydrogen Bomb. This new and devestating wepapon is able to unleash more power then the atom bomb. The explosion released by it is a reported to equal 1 million tons of TNT. The US has already built one of these devestating weapons.
OOC: Rika, you have aggrevated me to no end. You are Portugal not French. Thanks to you I have had to do the Spainish part of the update twice, the first time with French involvemnt, the second time without. Thanks to you the update took longer then it should have. If this happens again you will be penilized. ANYONE WHO NOW SAYS THEIR SOMEONE ELSE IN THEIR ORDERS WILL NOW RECIEVE BAD UPDATES!
